He seems to be a respected insider around here, so figured I would pass it on.

Positions of recent debate:

QB: Speight
LT: Bredeson

Not Necessarily Debated but up in the air because of all the big names... (Formatted as 1st, 2nd).

WDE: Charlton, Winowich
3-Tech: Wormley, Hurst Jr
1-Tech: Glasgow, Mone
SDE: Gary, Godin

Rest of it is as I had seen before.

I said the name below...

He meant Ben Braden, not Bredeson...who is LT. Or at least that's what I got. Onwenu is who I think he's talking about starting at LG. Cole at C. Kalis at RG with Dawson backing him up. Mags at RT.

But I supposed it could be Newsome at LT and Bredeson and LG too...

I think ppl are confused bc you said "Ben". I assume it's Ben Braden that's banged up, and not Ben Bredeson. Then it becomes a lot less confusing. Either some combination of Newsome/Bredeson will be at LT/LG if Braden is out, or possibly Bredeson/Onwenu at LT/LG. That's the way I'm piecing together all the tidbits from umbig11.

If this is true it's a little disappointing. I was just thinking earlier today how there hasn't been any major injury news so far which is rare for us recently.

That being said, if it is just bumps and bruises, it might actually be a good thing. It will potentially let Bredeson and Newsome play so they can both get some experience against an easy opponent. We'll be able to see how the two play in real game action and maybe get a definitive answer as to who the LT will be once Braden's healthy.

Even if they both struggle a bit we should still win handily and if it is minor for Braden, he'll have two tune up games after Hawaii to get back on the field, get any rust off, and show us the hopefully big improvements he's made.

I'm just wondering if David Long can crack the starting cornerback spot if Stribs and Clark cant get the job done. Need them two hitting on all cylinders before the Badger and Sparty games.

I'm just wondering why they wouldn't get the job done. Both have gotten the job done in the past, but probably Clark has had more game success. If Strib has passed him, then there's nothing to worry about there. True frosh as a 4th CB rather than a 2nd is a good thing...and I think Long is on his way to being damn good.

in the drop down under the MGoBoard tab --seems like it would fit under the "useful stuff" better.

You can also check with the local Alumni group although from my experience in PHX there was a lot of blue hair involved...

I got turf toe in 7th grade. I still have turf toe, and I'm now 34. It's mostly manageable, but flare-ups can be hobbling. Surgery for turf toe is apparently ineffective... Rest and ibuprofen is a solid mitigation strategy. Maybe an MGoDoctor can tell us if a steroid shot into the joint could help like it can for AC sprains.
