Hello: Aubrey Solomon and Otis Reese

Submitted by JClay on
Per Lorenz: 2017 Top100 DT Aubrey Solomon and 2018 4* S/LB Otis Reese have committed to #Michigan

Great pickups out of SEC country. Solomon comes as a bit of a surprise, according to crystal balls.

When asked about who from the Top 100 he would recruit, didn't Gary respond " All of them". 2 Huge commits down the rest of the top 100 to go.

Hide your commits hide your bag men because Jim Harbaugh is coming for everybody.

He just visited Auburn June 4.  I thought Harbaugh would never get a player from the South that Auburn or Alabama wanted.  Weird.

For 305, he really looks trim and compact. I'd imagine once he gets in the conditioning program, he'll be powerful, but nimble and fast - killer combination.

This is a nice way to start Father's Day just a wee early!  I came to this great news after finishing up the yardwork so I can do nothing tomorrow.  This is a GREAT cap to a very nice day!  Welcome, boys!

Welcome aboard Aubrey and Otis.

Wait till Michigan gets Nico... from Saban's own backyard. Yes SEC, you had every right to be concerned.

I love that it flies in the face of the SEC coaches and fans who were boasting that they weren't going to lose recruits to northern schools.

That said, I'm tempering my enthusiasm a bit until more about this comes out.  I was reading elsewhere that Solomon's mother didn't know anything about his wanting to commit to M.   Here's to hoping she was just out of his loop a little bit.
Then again, we temper our enthusiasm all the time anyways because we know none of this stuff means anything til they sign the LOI...so, i'm untempering...

But, that just means mom will soon be blown away by UM's pledge they give to every UM student-athlete. A family atmosphere second to none in a very close to perfect town, only to be then invited into the best alumni base there is in this country. So....welcome Mr. Solomon. And even more important, welcome Mr. Solomon's mother!
