Who is the Best Athlete you've ever played against?
I don't remember how many yards he had against us his Sophmore
year when we beat them 8-6 on the road,
but his Junior Year he had only 67 yards on 11 carries.
It was 1989 and Saline just beat Dearborn Heights Robichaud for the
2nd year in a row for our first game of the season.
I remember watching the scout film on him with his incredibly long stride
and ridiculous speed. How the hell we beat them 24-0 at home
will always be a prideful memory.
He was none other than my future favorite
Michigan Running Back - Tyrone Wheatley.

LOL...
Grant Hill - went to my local high school and would play at the playground where we chumps would go (Reston, VA). I'm a few years older than he is, but of course, that mattered not. He just dunked and dunked and three'd and three'd all day on me.
so I got to watch him smoke everyone. I ran hurdles so luckily I didn't have to get my ass kicked by him every meet.
How's Bolivia?

I ran against him at states a few times. I think I saw him at the 2 mile mark when I was getting to the half mile.
Incredible runner and its cool that he's still going. I always try to keep an eye out for him when Olympics come around.
Both in the OK Red conference and my brother ran both track and cross country.
That kid was amazing though. I felt bad for the second place kid at state cross country, because he ran a respectable 14:30 or so, but Dathan ran a 14:08.
The hole Rockford cross country team was rediculous though. My brother almost had our schools record at low 16s and Rockford had I think 3 guys besides Dathan that ran in the 15s.
I'm just glad we got to beat Rockford in soccer every year, because they dominated the rest of the sports.
I always heard that but you lived it was it true?
so how did that go?

I played against Northwestern's Kain Colter and Nebraska's Kenny Bell... Granted it was pee wee football, but I still think it's pretty cool... I played with Bell later in pee wee football as he moved cities

At Richmond. Davison is still a pretty strong program, though nothing like back then. Brent Metcalf is the best wrestler I've ever witnessed in person.
I wrestled Josh Churella as a sophomore in high school when he was a junior. He's currently an assistant coach for Michigan, and was a 3 time All American, including a runner up finish, for those who don't know him.
Not quite on Metcalf's level, but just barely. I knew what he was going to do and I still couldn't stop it. After hitting 4 or 5 single legs on me, he got bored and went for the pin.

Boys out there padding their stats, and to be in the huddle to hear them call it and them watch them so it was so unreal. You wouldn't believe all the Greg Jennings stories if I told them, he and JC were once in a lifetime . On that same team we had a guy named TJ smith who was 240 and ran a 22.5 200. So much talent but we list to a tough Northville team.

I was a senior and he was a freshman. We held him to 19 but DCD beat us by 31.
It seemed as though CWeb got every rebound. He was a man-child as a freshman.
Late in the game he went in for a layup, I raked his arms as hard as I could and it made no impact at all, easy bucket/3 point play.
Dude was a beast.
I can't believe they still speak to you.
