'90 alum friend just texted me that Chris Balas at thewolverine.com said that Gary is not coming in one of his posts tonight...  Not trolling.  I don't have access but would love for someont to verify.

Take everything you hear from rivals with a massive grain of salt. They had Florida state projected to get both bush and Walker. Sam Webb literally just posted an interview that said Michigans chances are going even higher and that things were said by Rashan's mother than makes him feel even more optimistic. Balas is full of crap and putting that out strictly for click bait

Mom wants the education and the character Michigan brings, but tough for an 18 year old to pass up bag men and fluffers.  Seriously though, how any kid could choose Hugh Freese and a school with lousy football tradition like Ole Miss over Michigan and Harbaugh is just so SEC bagmanish...

If Gary comes to UofM it'll be because one of the greatest football talents to come around in a long time values education as well as football and UofM gives you top quality in both.

If Gary goes to Ole Miss it means he doesn't care about education much but that doesn't matter as long as the narrative remains that UofM is the place the best athletes go when they care about a top education too.

However, WHEN Gary comes to UofM he will have the best chance at success because he has a support system of friends and staff that will make it his second home.

Do you really want this program to start "paying" to get top recruits who don't even want to "play school"; or. would you rather win with lower ranked guys who are smartypants and go on to be doctors and presidents and shit after the NFL?

Either way Harbaugh winning a 'ship!

Hilarious.  I mean ....who the Fuck is David Bevan?  I had never heard of him and looked him up.  He is just another OPINON folks...and not a very qualified one.  He is a fucking writer lol.

Probably cause Hugh Freeze is the only head coach thus far (of the tentatively scheduled 5) to have had dinner at Rashan's house. Go get your grub on Coach Harbaugh, mama be waiting!

A few days ago there were rumblings that Little would shun Ole Miss and come to Michigan, which I think turned out to be debunked.  How much of this is the Ole Miss people just trolling us as payback?

he was saying that he and their top 10 DT commit were working hard on a recruit to get him to Ole Miss and, while he didn't mention his name, it was obvious he was talking about Gary.

I think there must of been talk between the two of "playing together" and, unfortunately, there's more chance of Gary going to Miss than Little getting academically cleared by UofM.

Hopefully this is a case that neither team gets both.

Calm down folks,

1. Rashan's mom is smart enough not to allow her son get involved with bag-men who could tarnish his reputation.

2. She knows that he will make a lot of money in the NFL 3 years from now and he could do it without the negative pub, questions about his character and a possible stain on her boy.

3. If academics are important, (which I have no doubt they are) would you allow your kid go play at a mediocre at best school over a top rated institution.because he made friends with another kid at football camp?

Honestly guys, friendships are earned. especially in the black community. He and his mom wont dummy-down their expectations because of someone he has seen probably less than 6 times his entire life. Trust me if they are really that close, they will hangout and spend millions of NFL dollars very soon.

4. Its hard to believe his new friend at Mississippi is closer than all of the friendships and teaching and coaching and development he's had before he was the #1 player. He was recruited to Paramus by someone who helped develop him and put him in a position to be #1 and his mom trusted that person when he told her "I will make Rashan the #1 player in the country".

I'm sorry but new-comers dont get to enjoy the fruits of others hard work. thats something that is earned. He and Little will pop bottles later, for now it's about business.
