no point in going with 3 DL and one was Ngata (lol). Get an extra DB in there and come with 2 speed rushers or none and play a soft follow zone of 1-2 guys to make sure they don't do some run lateral stuff. Get as many back as possible OR send the house and keep 3 deep.

That was just awful call. Not even close to a personal foul. Shouldn't have been called. Open hand on the mask is not a penalty. Nfl will apologize to the lions tomorrow. It won't matter. That's twice this year. I sure as he'll expect the make up,calls to come next year , not this nw now that that the season is done! Boo to the refs.

Well. Refs did miss some holding and a block in the back, but ultimately....how in the world does a professional team of players get 7 guys back in the end zone and allow someone to catch a pass that easily? I mean....sheesh

Bad call or not, the Lions still gave up a Hail Mary. They should have called a timeout before that play. It wouldn't benefit the offense because their strategy is to throw it as far as possible. The Lions should have rushed 4 and put 7 on the goal line including Calvin.
