It was a phrase coined in dedication to one of Zona's students who died in an accident I believe.

Yeah he got into a car accident a week before the big game.
His last message to the team was to "bear down" before he passed away.
So they took it and made it their Fight Song along with motto.

That was exactly my thought. This is just bringing back too many memories of our futility on defense. You're getting killed through the air, getting killed on the ground, there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop them.
Although when RichRod was here, the defense almost always waited until 3rd and long to give up a 45 yard play and the secondary was playing 25 yards off any receiver every single time.
With Arizona, they're giving up big plays on EVERY down.

They probably should. Based on SOS and quality wins, BYU would have a better resume than Oregon, and I know BYU won't be ranked.

every team in the country is beatable
It's possible that we can beat OSU and MSU
