Favorite gameday traditions
So, today is finally game day. I know that I have a lot of gameday traditions, but I am wondering about yours to see if I am truly crazy or just a good fan:
1. I wake up at 6 am to take the dog out. I love getting up early and watching all the coverage from the night before
2. I fire up the michigan toaster that burns a block m into the toast and I have that with some scrambled eggs and a nice tall glass of whole milk. Not that candy ass 2% stuff
3. I go work out at my local gym and get back around 11 am
4. Raise my block m Meeechigan flag to the tune of the victors blasting over the speakers
5. Watch the last 45 minutes of game day.
6. Heat up some pigs in a blanket and watching some Michigan football.
Yours sincerely in football,
Harbaugh
Ps in the thread you are only allowed to enjoy yourselves in a football fashion

The fall seasonal beers are definitely my favorite seasonals.

Did what I always do on the day of the season opener. Blasted "The Victors" and Varsity on my car on my way into work. If I don't have to work on season opener day then I'll blast both songs in the house.
Generally there is some sort of smoked meat that my dad will make and I'll put together a side dish or two. And beer. And tequila. And a guarantee at some point my dad will channel his inner Bo and stomp around the living room yelling when something dumb happens.
13 hours til gametime boys!

With kids activities and the general impossibility of watching games live with my kids (at least not the way I want to watch them), we Dvr the games and go on complete media blackout so that we can watch them live when the kids go I bed. From the time of kickoff, we turn off our cell phones, televisions, car radios, etc. People who know us well enough know not to even try to get in touch. We also avoid places that have televisions (many restaurants). Then, when the kids are asleep, we make a big game day meal that can be eaten on the couch and watch the game live.

I am blasting The Victors on Spotify right now. Coincidentily I wear khakis, a Michigan shirt and my Michigan socks. Someone said this on another thread, but I'm thinking about starting game days mornings by going door to door spreading the word of HARBAUGH!
(Just the one word "HARBAUGH!")

Same on the Spotify. Best I could find was the "Gameday Faves" album, you?
Also, are you me? Michigan polo, khaki's and my navy socks with a block M on the side.

No real traditions before the game but my buddies and I do have superstitions during the game, like tossing a football around in between plays, if we have a good play same guy holds it next play, bad play switch it up.

Walking from SQuad to the L'il Chef restaurant(no longer there) - Sunday morning after a WIN and having the L'il Chef special omelet and coffee and watching highlights and sportcenter basking in the victory

I've had to alter it a bit as the game falls on a weekday this time around, but normally - before the first game - the pennants, glasses and other Michigan items are put out and placed on display throughout the house. The "M" flag normally goes up before each game, although because I was admittedly rushed and then distracted by a call this morning, I will have to do this when I get home. On the day before each game - noramlly Friday, of course - Michigan polo at work or some form of Michigan gear if those are in the wash.
Sometime today, I will blare "The Victors" in my office too. I just can't at the moment as there is a conference call in the adjacent cubicle at the moment.

I get drunk and say I'm going to make it to the stadium before kickoff, but it never happens.

I've seen maybe 2 kickoffs in 7 years. Just too hard to leave the beverages.
