John O’Korn, Jr., Michigan — This could seem like cheating, but the Houston transfer will sit out this season, after which he’ll have two years of eligibility. Expect coach Jim Harbaugh to help O’Korn (6-4 220) re-find his mojo: O’Korn had a great freshman year where he threw for 3,117 yards and 28 touchdowns before dipping as a sophomore and losing his job to Greg Ward, a more mobile option. Korn was the No. 31 pro-style quarterback in the 2013 247Sports Composite.

Cool to see some O'Korn appreciation, sometimes it feels like he is the forgotten candidate for next season because he has to sit out this year. Long way away, but I'm really looking forward to the QB battle in 2016.

Think about this -- we really haven't had quarterback "competition" since Tom Brady and Drew Henson. There was really no competition for Navarre or Henne. I suppose you could say there was some competition in the early RR years, if you consider Threetsheridammit and Denard vs Tate real competition.

If I had to guess, after this year w Rudock, it will be 2 years of O'Korn and then 3 years of B.Peters. I feel like we are in good hands regarding the QBs of the future.

That would break Michigan's single season passing touchdown record, and come a close second to the single season passing yardage record. Wow.

Year 2? Morris, O'Korn. Year 3, O'Korn, then Speight? Someone should figure out if theoretically, all of our QBs could start their senior year, including Peters and Vic.

I think John O'Korn would probably win if he was eligible this season, but I'm not ready to write off Morris yet. Shane has a lot of arm talent and this is the first time that he will have good coaching.

My head tells me it will he O'Korn. My heart wants it to he Gentry because of the problems he may present with his feet. Coach likes to run the pistol. He likes to run the option out of different looks. A true pass first mobile QB is ideal, only use the legs as a last resort, gets you into much easier downs and distances to manage. On that note, redshirt Vicious then unleash the terror on the B1G once Gentry graduates.

believes Morris will improve dramatically; earn the starting position; and impress the coaches and fans with his toughness, accuracy, strength and leadership. Morris loves UM, and takes his position very seriously. Go Morris! Go Blue!
