BR's Rapid-Fire Interview with Harbaugh
I know Bleacher Report is frowned upon here but with Harbaugh's other interview "clunker" today, I thought it'd be nice to see the light side of Harbaugh... or as Cowherd would put it, when Harbaugh is at his least intense.

How could anyone ever want to play for this guy?
/s
could learn something about interviewing from a kid on BR who does it for free.
see..doesn't matter who is interviewing him or what he is being interviewed about, this is who Jim Harbaugh is
He doesn't play along; He doesn't try to be someone he isn't, even if it makes for a bad interview with awkward silence. He isn't a salesman by any stretch. Somehow - despite that - he wins at every stop. Interesting.
I loved that interview with BR. He was honest, and I liked his answers to boot. I guess I'm old enough that I also didn't have an opinion on several he didn't have an opinion on. And his answer regarding MJ Lebron and Kobe was awesome. They're all great.
Don't worry about the source. They've gotten a lot better over the past couple of years and I love their Team Stream app.
I am pleased with the Ron Swanson-ness of his pregame meal.
I am pleased that Jim eats before games. Hoke's refusal to eat before coaching on gameday always made me curious.
Brian, how quickly can you make an "I"m a Tupac Man" t-shirt with the photo of Jim from Nasheir Upshur's video?
Someone? Anyone? Please?
is it bad that I was thinking the same thing as well lol
haha that is quite a peculiar individual
The lesson of the day: Bleacher Report > Colin Cowherd
Both teams played hard.
I listened to Cowherd's interview. It started out fine, however, I am convinced that Jim was put off by Cowherd's repeated, dismissive "ya" at the end of Jim's answers. Cowherd would say "ya" and just ask an unrelated question. A bad interview for sure, but I think its more on the host than the coach.
Interviewer: "Would you rather be a dragon or ride a dragon?"
Harbaugh: "Is that a question?"
Wanted to make a gif, but not computer savvy enough
that Harbaugh grew up in the 70's and 80's instead of today. He would have been labeled with some sort of personality disorder and put on Adderal or some sort of antipsychotic drug.
The key for JH is the fact that he found his niche...football. Or being in a football family pushed him into this niche.
As a parent of a child with autism I can tell you that they are blessed with some abilities that many aren't. The trick is finding an interest or occupation where they can use those superpowers.
I'm not saying that JH has autism but his "differentness" may have to do with the way he thinks and processes information. And this probably is the reason for the success he's seen both as a player and as a head coach.
Would you rather be a dragon or ride a dragon? Uh is that a question?
Eating during film sessions, "I don't. I like to take notes".
Yeah to JM.
Thanks for posting this it definitely made me smile.
Harbaugh is a non-pretentious real person which is unusual in today's age. Being yourself is a rare commodity.
