This puts to bed all the excuses that Harbaugh just needs a good QB to cure their offensive woes. Either Pep or Harbaugh don’t know how to coach college football.
To see Flowers in person was amazing. By far the best player on the field. The game was intense from the kickoff to the fumble.
Interesting thing about Spectrum Stadium is that is designed to flex. It’s nick name is “The Bounce House”. The whole building moves with the crowd. Crazy! It’s small so there’s not a bad seat in the house. They also sell beer!
Great crowd.
Feel bad for the kid who fumbled but the game is an instant classic!
about sports. Like when MTV was about music. I used to spend most of my TV day on ESPN. I would turn it in and just leave it running all day, sort of in the background. Now, I can’t remember the last time I watched Sports Center. I can’t remember the last time I tuned in Mike and Mike.
What’s amazing is that their plummeting numbers and mass layoffs haven’t encouraged them to go in a different direction. Like “Thelma and Louise” they keep speeding toward that cliff.
The 2015 OSU team lost about 15-17 players to the NFL and had to field a team that was as young, if not younger, than the current Michigan roster-and they still won “The Game”! They still made the playoffs. That’s coaching.
Michigan lost 11 players to the NFL and yet that team lost to Iowa, OSU, and FSU. That too is coaching.
Dantonio, Meyer, Franklin, all approach the game with hate in their heart when they play Michigan. They transfer that intensity to their players. Michigan played the Florida game that way. But I’ve not seen it since.
with Mr. I now gone, I don't believe there's anyone, currently in the organization, who'll push to make the changes needed to get a winning product on the field. The best you can hope for is the team gets sold to someone who wants to win.
He didn't do anything except get a free run at a a guy 100lbs lighter than himself. A complete brain fart on the O line made this average player look like a number 1 draft pick.
Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones, and JT Barrett, as he did Tim Tebow. All freaks athletically. Their entire offense is based on improvising from the qb position.
We lost because of three turnovers that gave them 14 and took away 7 from us. 21 point differential. If it weren't for the spot we'd all be talking about the turnovers.
For once, I can't blame Brad. The guys in his bullpen, for the most part, cannot handle pressure pitching. It's one thing to make a mistake and hang a curve or miss your target on a fastball and give up a run. These guys implode! If the Tigers are up by 1 they give up 2, up by 3 they give up 4. Aside from Shane, they guys in the bullpen are weak. Alex W. Can out together an inning but the rest cannot.
No matter how close the Tigers get to winning the Central, most believe, Tigers bullpen will cave. I agree. Even K-Rods saves are very Todd Jones like. Even if we make the playoffs, we all know the playoffs are about pitching. We don't have a single "shut down" guy in the bullpen.
With the loss of manufacturing and industry in the United States, more people are attending college than ever before.
The opportunity to leave high school get a good job, earn an AS degree in a trade and work your way into a decent middle class lifestyle is no more. Kids who aren't really college material are being forced to get a degree just to get a job. Any job.
Additionally, employers are requiring four year degrees for jobs that should not need the degree. At least a four year University degree.
Go to "www.indeed.com" and look at the jobs posted there. Almost every job requires a degree, with many wanting graduate degrees. Even $10 an hour receptionist positions require a four year degree! Why?
If the Universities continue to get more qualified applications than they need to fill the classrooms, they will continue to raise tuition. If the job market doesn't offer any additional opportunities, this cycle will continue.

Imagine how well Gardenhire would be doing if he had JV, J Up, Miggy two or three years younger, Kinsler, and JD still on the roster?
He’s making lemonade out of lemons right now.
Everyone we’ve met that’s here for the game has been first class!

Don’t let the offense lose the game.
