So does this mean Ty Isaac's tweet about being a free agent was referring to his love life?
Was just about to post. Smart money would have the line at Maize -3, but I think the Blue team wins a close one!
For the first time ever, I'm actually going to watch the spring game. I'm dying for real football, though, especially now that we have a good coaching staff.
to look.
Damn no Taco. Anyone know how severe his injury is?
and there has been speculation that Isaac won't play due to minor injuries.
Isaac got a few reps at practice yesterday.
So I've heard.
Thanks for that update!
"Linebackers Mike McCray, James Ross III and Noah Furbush, running back Drake Johnson (ACL tear), defensive ends Taco Charlton and Mario Ojemudia, offensive lineman Chris Fox, defensive tackles Ondre Pipkins and Matt Godin, tight end Khalid Hill (ACL) and fullback Sione Houma are the among the notables left off the teams."

Interesting split of the QBs. Looks like team blue will have snaps split between Morris and Speight, but with Malzone as the only other scholarship QB on Maize, does that mean we'll be seeing lots of him? I hope so, I really want to see how the freshman can perform against college players, even if it is just a spring game scrimage.
Kid was All State in CA before choosing baseball - could be a wildcard for the Maize team.
Do people actually think Malzone has a chance to be the starter this season? Even after seeing all of the wobbily off-target passes in the practice videos?
Hate to break this to you, but Malzone is being used as motivation for the others and will almost certainly redshirt this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being 4th on the depth chart in the Fall.
your insider knowledge? You need to establish your credentials or have more than 3 points before you get to have that much attitude.
I've been a longtime reader of this site. Still though, I'm constantly in disbelief at people's inability to separate fact from obfuscation.
The blog has reached a new low.
What fact? You simply shared an unsupported opinion--a pretty speculative one at that.

Maize 24 Blue 14
Four ten minutes quarters -- are they running clock or are they playing with normal clock rules? I assume that they are running clock but that seems like it would make the game awfullly short.
I thought I saw somewhere that it starts at noon and will run unti around 2:30; that makes it sound like those will be regular 10 minute quarters, not running clock.
I'm going to go Maize team for the win. They have all of the receivers except Darboh and Dukes. Although the Blue team has both Butt and Bunting. Everything else looks pretty evenly matched.
Peppers will defend against two of the three top QBs and Isaacs. Maize Team appears somewhat better on O line by my calculations and despite having only one top QB the Maize will likely end up with the most points.

Can you arrange it by position instead of number?
Check OP.
Blue team definitely wins since they have an extra player. Is that how this works?
Maize.
Repping the White jersey at the game. Gonna feel strange wearing the road jersey at home, though.
The WR split seems, well, unbalanced.
Blue starters:
- QB: Morris
- RB: Isaac
- FB: Kerridge
- TE: Butt
- WR: Darboh, Harris
- OL: Bushel-Beatty, Tuley-Tillman, Glasgow, Dawson, Braden
- DL: Glasgow, Wormley, Henry, Garrett Miller?
- LB: Morgan, Jenkins-Stone, Gant?
- CB: Countess, Lewis
- S: Thomas, Francois Montbrun? (no clue on the other safety but that's a dope name)
Maize starters:
- QB: Malzone
- RB: Smith
- FB: Pallante/who knows (please be Poggi playing both ways)
- TE: Williams
- WR: Cole, Chesson
- OL: Cole, Magnuson, Kalis, Kugler, Bars
- DL: Hurst, Mone, Strobel, Marshall
- LB: Bolden, Gedeon, Wangler?
- CB: Stribling, Pearson?
- S: Peppers, Hill
Didn't see James Ross on there at all so I'm guessing injury. Harris is listed as healthy to play.

Unsung hero. Last year he played in 26 games with 24 starts and scored points. Yet we seldom heard about him.
My guess would be Malzone is #1 QB right now and Ty Issac is the #1 RB based on the teams. I would expect whoever didn't take the #1 overall guy at a position in the coaches' minds would take #2 and #3 to compensate.
The draft order would've been really nice to see...
I'm guessing that Pipkins, Fox, Ross, Taco and others are left off due to injury? I hadn't heard of injuries to Ross, and also thought Pee Wee was playing this spring as well. Really surprised about Ross given Durkins recent praise of his spring in the recent interview. Any info on these guys or others left off the rosters?
Hoping Isaac can play--really intrigued by his skillset/size/impact--but if injuries hold him out of the spring game, the blue team is in an interesting position as far as RBs are concerned
I am not sure what to expect from him on Saturday. Smith, Green, and Shallman have taken a lot of the reps.
The one injury I do recall was a wrist injury.
Maize looks a lot stronger to me, especially on defense with Mone and Peppers standing out.
Eh, Blue has a stonger/more experienced secondary in general I thought (they have Jarrod Wilson too). Also, the DL looks good; Glasgow is a good NT. OL seems a push, same with LB. Maize just really got like every WR except Darboh. Blue does have Butt and Bunting though.
How do the coaches fit in? Has that been revealed anywhere?
Man Maize really won the day with WR...whew, that's really unbalanced at that position group. Also, where is Taco?
So if Ross, Taco, etc. are left off because of injuries, what does that say about Drake Harris?
He is listed there. But he is supposed to have a potential season ending injury?
These other have minor injuries and they arent listed at all? What sense does that make?
He will not play and likely will not even dress.
