Sad Josh |
The genre of player with unrequited interest in Michigan. Unlikely to receive offers; most will eventually fade off the list and go to Duke or |
|
Nefarious Eduardo | Player is a longshot. Either they've declared someone else a leader publicly or popular opinion holds that they're likely to go to another school.
Data | Either no opinion or Michigan is one of a fairly even group of chasing schools. Players in this category maintain no leader or change their leader frequently. The default category for players that we don't know much about yet.
Happy Teeth | Players who have Michigan in a small leading group or have Michigan as a tenuous favorite. Should be regarded as a good shot, not a slam dunk.
Mr. Blue | Player is either a verbal or is expected to be one sooner or later. Players with this designation are 65%+ to be Michigan commits. |

We really need a few of these players to commit. Only six so far worries me.

Cole and Malzone are enrolled (signed letter of intent).

did a good job of recruiting offensive linemen and running backs. I hope we can land a real difference maker at receiver and defensive end.

Sure a lot of them are still young, but i have seen almost no evidence that Hoke did a good job of recruiting OL and RB's.

It's too bad most of the recruits they're going after have a Nefarious Eduardo type of interest in Michigan.

It looks like it might be 2016 DE Isiah Chambers from Houston, Texas. Good news regardless.January 11th, 2015 at 7:04 PM ^
While the large majority of players sign on signing day... I think it's important that we keep in mind that signing day is not a deadline. Recruits are free to put their decision off until after the 4th.

pleading for Michigan interest according to Sam Webb.
That would seem like a good get.

Chuma Edoga. Isn't Mattison going to recruit him until he signs somewhere?
January 12th, 2015 at 12:13 AM ^
" Isaac Nauta (@inauta24) said he talked to Greg Mattison: “He said I know you're committed, but we're going to recruit you until you sign.”."
Nauta is a 2016 player. The list is only 2015 players.

"I'm still 100-percent committed to Wisconsin, but I'm keeping all options open until Signing Day," said Moorman, ranked a four-star recruit by Scout.com and a three-star prospect by Rivals.com. "If Michigan comes calling I'll definitely listen. (Michigan incoming recruit) Alex Malzone keeps calling and texting me, saying I need to come to Michigan.
"There's been nothing official and I haven't heard from anyone on (Michigan's) staff, but if they called I'd seriously listen to what they had to say. I know Jim Harbaugh's a great coach. It would be an honor to get an offer from Michigan.

There's going to be some left field names that I think surface. We're going to get a commit and have no idea he was interested.

Out of curiosity, how are you assigning warm/cool/etc. evaluations? Based on your own interpretation of tweets/articles/roundups/SOURCES, or are you pulling the evaluation from another source?

A combination of the 247Sports public listing (they label players that way) and comments on this site.

If you got something to contribute about UM football, stick around.
But keep the Buckeye crowing/rooting to yourself. On this page, that's trolling. i wouldn't go to a Buckeye blog and start telling them about how UM is back and is going to stomp them, etc..

I submitted Equanimeous St. Brown to the Name of the Year contest last year and he made it to the Elite Eight if memory serves!
What I'm saying is, he should be our number one priority for this class.

Harbaugh must control the weather. Latest reports seem to indicate highs about 40 Saturday and Sunday with some clouds on Sunday.
Couldn't ask for much better in January.

Currently a Rutgers commit and not highly rated. He is from Flordia though so I assume that Durkin knows him well. We certainly are in on higher rated guys though so we shall see.
