I am saved from Boliva!!!!!!!

Seriously, this is a great hire.  Coaches like Durkin create a staff that will unite, conqure, and destroy all that will stand in their way......

I can say it now, but the irony behind this is that my source (who knows Durkin) is a Michigan State grad and HUGE Spartan slappy (he has been unbearable to deal with these past few years).  So we were talking today about how he has to root for Durkin yet it will be for his arch rival.

What a complete load of self-serving bullshit. A variety of sources, including BC and Sam Webb have been reporting this basic fact for a while now.

My dog's poop has more predictive value for Michigan football than these Scoop asswipes.

Maybe not ever...but damn...I guess being a DC at a major program will definitely add some years!

Anyway, WELCOME, young man. :-) We're very glad to have you here.

Huge pickup for Michigan! This is the guy that recruited Humphries, Anzalone, Bullard and others to Florida. Can't wait to see who he picks up for Michigan. And the fact that he's only 36? Icing on the cake.

Glad it happened.

Unfortunately, now it means FootballScoop will feel vindicated for the one time this month it's been right.  As I said in an earlier thread about FootballScoop, this is there reporting mantra:

I will say that the staff searches have almost had as much up and down drama with them as the head coach search, at least for short periods, but this is excellent news that Durkin is finally in the fold and another good get by Jim Harbaugh. Each hire has me that much more impatient for practices to begin honestly. I find the wait for football difficult whereas a month ago I might have found it very easy.
