I think these announcers are decent, especially for ESPN.  I'll take Kara Lawson any and every day over Dickie V.  (OK that's saying nothing.)  I think you guys are also taking a couple nice words for Oregon too hard.   If anything, I think they've been slanted for Michigan, which makes sense since it's a home game for us.

Yeah they're perfectly fine. I am consistantly amazed at how there almost always ends up being a long thread of posters complaining about basketball announcers every game no matter who it is. The only guy MGoBlog likes nowadays is Dakich and we used to hate him before he became a huge MGoHomer when Andy joined the squad. Most of the ESPN and CBS guys do a pretty good job.

Defense looks better so far this year.  Rebounding looks like it will be an issue throughout the year.  Caris is feast or famine on offense as is Chatman, but I like Beilein playing a lot of guys, especially against Oregon and considering they will be playing tomorrow.  If they continue to control the pace, they should end up on top comfortably:  Oregon thrives on the fast break.

We havent played anyone with an inside presence to create an inside out game.  Unless you count Juwan Howard Jr who went off for 24.  Bigger challenges await in the Big 10.  Hard to judge much right now - we are basically playing teams without very talented big men.

Again for a team playing 2-3 freshman on the court and without their starting PG it was fine what happened - Oregon made a run, UM made a run back.  That's basketball.

What is nice about this 3 headed center is you can ride whomever is hot that night and that fellow can play all out for his 4-5 minute "shift" because there is no need to conserve energy as there are 2 more where that came from.

Please lets stop with the hand wringing over Caris.  Fergodsakes he didnt forget how to shoot - people go through stretches of good and bad shooting, it can turn in a half (it did last game) and he is now #1 on everyone's scouting report.  Last year he was #3.  He is facilitating.  I am more upset about 1-2 bad passes than missing shots.  8 turnovers is not Beilein basketball.

Four factors via UMhoops.  Looks about how you'd expect.  High M Turnover percentage keeping our PPP to a pedestrian 1.04.  Offensive rebounding keeping Oregon in it, but M halfcourt defense really strong has them at .85.  In the halfcourt is I think 0.72.

Half-court defense has been tremendous this half, just need to work a bit harder to box out, but damn this might be the best defense i've seen in the Beilein era.

Man, Doyle's having a really impressive all-around effort tonight. This is the best any of Donnal/Doyle/Wilson have looked in any contest as far as showing the ability to have a game that's servicable in all aspects. Just wish Caris could show some consistancy.
