A Sandusky area news source released the full details of Clark's case, complete with interviews and a graphic description of what allegedly ocurred. It does not look good at all.

Children fleeing with cries of, "Frank is killing our sister!"
And the victim was found "passed out," which I take to be police-speak for "unconscious."
Ummmmm . . . . This is not going to play well . . . .

Didn't want to post my opinions in the post and editorialize it, but if this is true, and obviously we have to wait for due process to know for sure, then fuck this guy.

If true, he's bad news. We don't do that shit here at Michigan, no matter what else is going on around the program.
And before we all get on a roll, this is not Brady Hoke's fault. Don't try to spin this into a "He's losing his team and that's why Clark did this." That's not why Clark did this.

Your words are true. This idea that people at Michigan can't do bad things is just plain moronic. Of course they can. Evil people are everywhere all across the world.

One can certainly say there is a purpose behind it (dominance of course being the major one that we also unfortunately see as the psychotic "purpose" behind sexual assault cases). However, regardless of the purpose, there is an obvious self control issue with perpertrators of domestic violence.
The fact that they can't in the moment realize how irrational their actions and do it any ways (regardless of purpose) points to these people having an impulse control disorder and/or an intermittent explosive disorder (this in combination with stealing the laptop situation certainly makes me lean towards believing Frank may have the former). If left untreated, these people pose a continuing threat to those near them.

Yeah, this is terrible, but Clark did this on his own, and is not some cipher for the ills of the program.

I am sure ESPN will be so happy about this, they will always jump on Michigan when there is a chance to.... ESPN hates us

ESPN basically devoted a full day of coverage to that Ray Rice elevator video. They love every minute of this stuff.

Sad. He was on a good path after the B&E, and was one of the few guys who left it all on the field every game.
November 16th, 2014 at 9:20 PM ^
I have no remorse for any piece of shit who would do what he's being accused of. A+++ effort on the field or not.

but he said he didn't do anything...
this will only get worse...

If she doesn't want to press charges, will anything actually come of this?
November 16th, 2014 at 9:11 PM ^
Lawyer types, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that she can change her mind on that one. I also think that, if true, he's off the team. He could be untouchable for the draft as well, given that the league is trying to repair its image as enablers of domestic violence and that he plays on a middling team in a bad conference. Could be viewed as unworthy of the draft risk.
But even if something doesn't "come of it," it's still deplorable and should be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

will have no impact.
Following Ray RIce's actions, however, will get a Ray Rice-like treatment. Ray Rice is currently suspended indefinitely from the NFL and has been cut by the Ravens.
November 16th, 2014 at 10:02 PM ^
Yeah, he probably won't be drafted into the NFL.
That said, if it is true he beat the crap out of his pregnant girlfriend, he's got bigger problems than the NFL.
November 16th, 2014 at 10:59 PM ^
Statute of limitations for a misdameanor is 2 years, and for a felony is 5 or 6. Since Frank was arrested and there was a police report, the evidence certainly will exist in the system to pursue it if she changes her mind within the appropriate time frame.
As for the NFL, with the hard nose stance the NFL is finally taking on domestic abuse, it certainly seems that ship has sailed for him (depending on the outcome of this...or maybe not even).
November 16th, 2014 at 9:14 PM ^
In Ohio you don't have to press charges against someone. The state can do it if there are witnesses and physical evidence...in this case, there is both.
November 16th, 2014 at 9:15 PM ^
According to the article, they can detain someone with evidence of violence. However, it still seems like the victim has to press charges.
November 16th, 2014 at 9:31 PM ^
based on what?
edit: the comment I was responding to is gone.
November 16th, 2014 at 9:23 PM ^
Because abused women (or men) don't always want to report it or press charges because often times they fear revenge from the abuser for doing so, law enforcement has taken it out of the hands of the victims - the officers are to arrest the perpetrator and charges will be filed where there is evidence of domestic violence, regardless of whether the victim wants that or not.
November 16th, 2014 at 9:20 PM ^
Any state's attorney's office can always press charges regardless of what the victim wants. The term "press charges" is really just an inaccurate way to describe victim cooperation.

Doesn't matter in Ohio, according to what I just read.

A felon and a woman beater. Get this piece of shit off the team. Damn embarassment to the University.
Scum.
November 16th, 2014 at 9:09 PM ^
Reading that has me fuming. I have very not nice things I could say about him right now.
I'm just going to leave it at this: good riddance
November 16th, 2014 at 9:11 PM ^
You'd still get a tingle in your pants if he were ten feet away from you.

He should transfer to Alabama, I am sure they will find a way to keep him for next year... kid was a 1st-2nd round pick and has so much talent, it all could be lost and forgotten.
