Way OT: Unofficial OSU look-alike board post
I keep hearing that everyone watched the show "Suits" during the pandemic. My wife and I just started it and there is an obnoxious character Louis Litt played by Rick Hoffman. The character has been passed over for senior partner and is whiny about it. He tries to be a tough guy, but comes off as compensating. For the first season and a half I kept thinking that I'd seen him somewhere before and then it hit me:
Someone on Reddit thought the same thing 3 years ago. Sorry I couldn't wait until the official diary next year.
Meh. Somewhat.
Day always reminded me of a ferret.
Then Harbaugh broke him and he gained a bunch of weight and now reminds me of a penguin, specifically during his clownish pre-game mosh pit dance or walking off the field, head down, after losing to UM- 3x.
He also has slight Jared from Subway vibes, but don’t want to go that direction as that guy was a pedo, and Day just looks like a soft pussy that clowns himself (post ND tuff rant), not a sex predator.
Great comp! He also looks like the guy Thamel identified as the head of the PI firm Day hired to uncover the greatest scandal in the history of sports. Still waiting for the investigation that reveals the firm and the direct connection to Day but I’m sure that is not enough of a story and would require Thamel to actually work for something.
The eyebrows and upper lip definitely are similar, also the kind of dumb, befuddled, born on third base expression.
Lol, perfect!
I watched 1 scene from Suits and thought it was very dumb. The guy gets a job at a white shoe law firm because he like memorized a bar prep book. What?
I've been told I should give it another chance, but I figure there's too much good stuff out there to bother. Since you asked, I'm currently watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the final Curb season, and Twin Peaks: The Return (finally) and am enjoying all of those.
Mr and Mrs smith was a little slow at times but picks up in the last few episodes. Really enjoyed it overall.
He that has never booger picked cast the 1st stone.
He is working it pretty hard isn’t he?
dude is working it!
Digging for the truth?
Digging his way to 3rd base.
tbh apparently nose picking is common coaching practice...
You are always on film.
If you're talking about Harbaugh, he denies picking. He only wiped his nose. And he certainly never ate a booger. 😊
"I have never eaten a booger in my entire life," Harbaugh said. "It might have looked like that was happening. But if you rub your nose and then you bite your fingernail, that's not eating a booger. There was no booger eaten.
"For clarity here, for the record, I have never eaten a booger in my entire life."
Damn, I'm gonna miss that guy.
Priceless.
Two of my three kids are booger eaters. It never even occurred to me that a booger is something I might want to eat. Gross. They must get it from their mother.
I almost puked reading this.
TMI WQ!!
Yeah, sure go ahead and blame it on their mother :)
I keep hearing that everyone watched the show "Suits" during the pandemic.
Not only have I never heard anyone make this claim, I don’t know a single person who’s ever watched that show.
Someone told me that Prince Harry was a big fan of that show.
not that I like or watch Suits, but apparently a lot of people do:

In fairness, it is a pretty popular show for some strange reason. I personally could never get into it and I don't understand why so many people like it, but I also hate soccer so what do I know?
While everyone was watching Suits during the pandemic, I was watching The Last Kingdom. I loved it so much I watched it twice. Then I watched Vikings twice. Pretty much got me through.
I found a Day lookalike:
Not sure what show you’re watching, but Litt was a partner in season 1. Also, as the show moves on, he becomes one of the better characters. As a lawyer, I usually hate lawyer shows and while this one has a lot of stuff in it that’s not believable, it’s actually not bad if you just remember you’re watching a show/drama and it’s not supposed to be real or anything like what practicing law in those firms is like. It’s just good, light hearted fun. The lead actor, Gabriel Mach, is great as well.
Got hooked on the first episode, watched all in real time, Donna's character was the best.
He was a junior partner. He got passed over for senior partner. It seems like his character is going to have a redemption arc and end up being a part of the team. Day will not have a redemption arc.
and while this one has a lot of stuff in it that’s not believable
Like the minor, inconsequential detail that a kid who never went to law school can lie about having graduated from HLS and then land and keep a job as an associate at a prestigious New York law firm.
I mean.... do I really have to say it?
I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHERE OXI-CLEAN IS RIGHT NOW. WHAT THEY SAID ABOUT OUR LAUNDRY... I CANNOT BELIEVE!!
Too funny--my wife and I just started watching it, as well*. We're about halfway into season two. I enjoy it, but I have to regularly remind myself to suspend my disbelief.
*When not watching Seinfeld reruns. Yes, I'm still a big fan.
