This is another example of why both teams should get the ball in OT. The win percentage of the coin flip winner went down a good bit with the new rule, but until the coin flip makes no statistical difference to the outcome of games, the rule is bad.

Then the win percentage shouldn't be affected by the coin flip, but it is. Before the rule was amended, the win % for coin toss winner in OT was close to 60%. Since the rule was reformed, it's still up around 54-55% last time I saw the number.

It feels different in this game because both offenses seemed to be rolling. That said, the refs actually had a major impact on both games today.
