Tip off momentarily for the matchup with the Broncos.

What happened to the ruthless Assassins from the first month of the season?

They all look so disinterested and bored the last 10 days-2 weeks

They don’t look like they are having fun and this doesn’t bode well for the conference season.

The offense has been incredibly flat and no one seems to be moving off ball and shots aren’t falling, and defense has been sloppy.

Let’s hope for the standard issue mid January Beilein bump this year again.

I can't believe how often Flowers has pushed off without getting called, and he keeps drawing ticky-tack fouls when he drives.

Winning an ugly game where we missed the majority of our open shots is not a bad thing at all. Also, Matthews made free throws consistently and Z made his open threes. Those are positive developments, and we are now 11-0. I’ll take it all day.  Go blue!

Yeah, no kidding.  I don't understand the way that game was officiated at all.  In the first half, Western Michigan was getting a tight whistle while Michigan wasn't, and in the second half, it basically flipped.

Mostly I'd like to understand how X took that horrible offensive foul but WMU could lower their shoulders into guys the entire game.  Flowers was doing that on almost every drive, and Davis (I think) pushed off to create every bit of space he had.

after a terrible shooting first half on FTs and 3s, both % ended up being near the norm.  however, they must have missed more than a dozen shots at the rim, many contested, but still.  that is flukish.  UM is usually pretty damn good at the rim.

Michigan just won a game shooting 17/36 from 2, when they couldn't buy a call inside the paint for the last ten minutes of the game.  (Meanwhile, WMU made 56% (!) from 2, thanks in large part to garbage shots falling).

I'm not sure a dozen of those misses were at the rim, but it sure seemed that way.  And, I agree, it's not particularly likely to repeat itself.

Michigan won this game largely by getting up 8 more shot attempts and taking 5 more free throws.  It's good to have an offense built around avoiding turnovers. :)

Team just plays to the level of its opponent. The "on/off" switch thatt veteran NBA teams claim to have. They flipped it halfway through this game.  I don't doubt this 1st quarter was harder to get up for than Villanova.

It's fine. Nobody goes undefeated in today's game, and I'd rather our slump come against teams like this than teams that would take serious advantage of it and clobber us. We've destroyed teams this year that would have beaten us today. It's just how college hoops is.
