Has anyone ever brought up the thought that under the original conference alignment we would probably be playing tonight in an OSU rematch?
We beat NW, Neb, and MSU. Obviously it’s all speculation but most likely would have beaten Iowa and Purdue although both would be tough outs.
No real point or question - just happened to just now realize what may have been.

D game plan was awful. With that said, 27-19 with 8 min left in 3rd. Not awful against a team that’s basically Oklahoma of big 10. Great O and crappy D. Can’t expect your D to bail you out Every. Single. Game.

No defense can be expected to hold offenses like Ohio State and Oklahoma to just a coupe TDs. The error was running an offensive scheme predicated on that.

Would have been nice to see OSU miss assignments when they played us, miss a FG, fumble, etc.... this is not the same OSU team that we faced in the Shoe.
People want to place all the blame on our coaching staff yet there is compelling evidence they don't prepare for other teams the same way.... and also don't play as well on the road.
Maybe this has something to do with why they got shutout by Clemson.
