I agree, you probably don't need to rent a guy for a year but I'd rather they picked up a couple guys since they only got one receiver last year. I just don't want to get into another situation in the future where you're dependent on first and second year receivers to come in and produce. If they're good enough fine, but it shouldn't be out of necessity.

06/22/2018 - 1:32am I keep on hearing this is…

I keep on hearing this is not a need but I don't see how. The team is scheduled to only have 6 scholarship wide receivers when the next class comes in. We almost have that many quarterbacks. There's talent there but you also need numbers.

That's pretty much my exact list except I would switch out the A-Train for Ricky Powers. Of course I was pretty young when he was playing. It's possible he's not quite good as I remember.

06/13/2018 - 3:44pm No way McDoom is in there…

No way McDoom is in there. He's one of only 7 scholarship wide receivers and one of those is a true freshman that had exactly one other D1 offer. He's going to play. And I'm thinking that with Crawford gone that Oliver will probably be playing some on the outside.

04/30/2018 - 1:37am Went in 2005 against Texas.

Loved the experience . I just wish that field goal would have veered off to the right.

Hopefully I'll make my way to the next one seeing how I live in California.

I'd love to hit the Cotton Bowl to experieince the Red River Shootout sometime and head out to the fair afterwards of course. I'd also like to catch a game between the hedges (Georgia) and see one at Wisconsin.

04/12/2018 - 9:34pm I'm with you.

I definitely grabbing tickets when UCLA comes up here to Cal. I'll get to see Wolverines on both sides in that one.

01/06/2018 - 2:12pm Once again by Hutch

Once again by Hutch. I guess they're not supposed to blitz in this game?

01/06/2018 - 1:49pm Hutchinson looking good on that sack!

12/17/2017 - 12:36pm Double post

12/17/2017 - 12:35pm I enjoyed it too.

I think a lot of it is expectations. I didn't really have any but most star wars fans go in thinking they're about see the greatest movie ever. It probably doesn't hurt that my employer took us to see it during work hours

They weren't turning down the trip to Vegas.

11/18/2017 - 7:01pm Gotta disagree there,

There's no way OSU makes the playoff last year without the win at Oklahoma

11/18/2017 - 4:41pm Agree

Pass pro has to improve and it would be nice if a wr would get open here or there

11/18/2017 - 4:00pm The run game was not a mirage.

We ran into one of the best defensive fronts in the big 10. We needed backs that could push the pile and find small spaces but unfortunately, Higdon was out. Isaac would have even helped. Evans is good, but this is not his type of game. When Peters went out, they could really load up on the run. The bigger issue is our lack of wide receivers so that the defense has to respect the pass more.

11/18/2017 - 3:53pm The sky is not falling.

The team is still getting better. What we saw on offense today is much better that we saw in the Michigan State game. Could it have been better yeah, but if you watched the first 7 games, I don't know why you would expext our offense to come in and dominate.

Black, Speight, Higdon, Peters, Isaac. The team is not good enough yet to beat a top 5 team on the road with this many guys out

10/07/2017 - 11:23pm Hope this is a wake up call for the team.

Gotta get better. I'll tell you what though, we better beat OSU

10/07/2017 - 9:24pm Not shocked

Honestly, I'm disappointed but not shocked. The offense has looked like ass for 5 of the last 6 halves of football coming into this game. Only difference is we were playing opponents who couldn't capitalize. They're going to slowly get better but it just doesn't happen all at once. Young team 'n all.

09/09/2017 - 9:11pm Ummm,

Ummm, which Tigers?

04/15/2017 - 7:18pm O Line depth

I'm actually not that worried about injuries at offensive line outside of Cole. I figure if Kugler goes down, then Ruiz steps in. If one of the guards goes down, then Kugler slides over and Ruiz steps in at center. Whoever wins out at right tackle will be marginally better than the next guy so Cole is the only one we really can't afford to lose.

07/27/2015 - 2:44pm Yeahh, but...

Do you really think more people are watching Rutgers football than are watching Oklahoma football?

07/24/2015 - 3:26am Bingo.

He was a great recruiter and spokesperson for the program but not a gameday coach or a great leader. He had success when Colt McCoy and Vince Young filled that leadership role for him but Texas underachieved every year besides those.

07/20/2015 - 2:55pm No doubt.

i was thinking the same thng. The old stadium had those poles everywhere that seemed to be in the way for most every play. The old stadium had character though, i'll give it that. The new one always seemed nice to me, but keep in mind, these are the only two NFL stadiums I've ever been to. The last game I went to was the one with Tim Couh crying afterward because he felt the crowd was cheering after he got hurt.

07/08/2015 - 7:51pm Boss

I loved Kelsey Grammar's show Boss. Been watching that one on Netflix. I think the only reason it got cancelled is because it was on Starz and no one had ever heard of it.

Is True Detective (Season 1) really that good? I watched the first three episodes and it seemed too dark and depressing for me. And I usually like dark and depressing movies.

06/21/2015 - 4:02pm Thanks Maize, I just downloaded

Shaolin vs. Lama. Fearless gets my vote.
