No O'Neill crew...
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:36 PM ^
Truth be told I'd rather have O'Neill than the home crew, so that's saying something.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:50 PM ^
pray thats its not the same crew from the 16' game
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:57 PM ^
When do they announce these? Have to be able to find it somewhere.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:58 PM ^
I really don't know. Probably when they arrive at the stadium is when teams find out
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:09 PM ^
You are probably correct. I just did a quick google search. I can find NBA refs for all the games tonight and NFL refs but nothing for college.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:06 PM ^
O'Neill's crew was in charge in THE GAME 2016. He had the famous pat on Mike Weber's butt and several other questionable calls.
Other than the bad spot at the end, there was a clear take down of a UM receiver running a route in the first half, without a PI flag. I believe that forced a punt.
Also, O'Neill lives in the Columbus area, if that is what you're referring to.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:44 PM ^
Daniel Capron was the referee for the 2016 Michigan-OSU game. John O'Neill was the referee for the Iowa game that year.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:37 PM ^
Just seen that and it made me happy. One more obstacle out of the way to send Columbus into nuclear winter.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:16 PM ^
I feel a little better too but the majority of big ten officials are incompetent idiots.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:38 PM ^
Kansas' best player so far has been their punter. Only down 7 to Texas at half.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:42 PM ^
Wait till the mad hatter gets there!!!
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:01 PM ^
Out of all the schools to coach at why in the world would you take the Kansas job?
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:03 PM ^
money and who else is calling him for a job interview?
November 23rd, 2018 at 4:51 PM ^
The way I heard it is that Kansas offered Miles something no other program would. Turns out every program that has a homefield of natural turf is good with their current HC . However, Kansas, with field turf, has agreed to install a 6'x6' square of natural grass within the stadium confines so that Les can graze in moments of stress. The contract has an extension clause guaranteeing that the patch of natural turf will be expanded to a 10'x10" area upon the findings of a mutually agreed upon psychiatric exam.
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:12 PM ^
I wonder if Les is at the game.
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:18 PM ^
On the broadcast they just said Miles is on the road recruiting,
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:44 PM ^
This Martinez kid is gonna be something in a couple years
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:07 PM ^
Nebraska should be vastly improved next season. They could easily surprise and win the west in 2019.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:45 PM ^
Go Huskies!
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:52 PM ^
It's only an 8-hour drive from Iowa City to Columbus.
Just sayin'...
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:29 PM ^
This is what I was thinking, Mr. President. Are we sure O'Neill and his blithering band of slappies won't do games on consecutive days?
November 23rd, 2018 at 5:57 PM ^
No more than a 2 hour flight I would imagine .... I wont believe he is not the ref until the crew is confirmed before the game .
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:56 PM ^
MSU put up 6 points on this Nebraska team. Woof.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:58 PM ^
Iowa is being pretty dominant on offense.
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:05 PM ^
nebraska's defense is pretty weak.
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:53 PM ^
check that. Nebraska's defense blows. pretty sad that MSU only scored 6 points on them.
November 23rd, 2018 at 1:59 PM ^
Please say somebody will get a GIF of the potato chip-eating Kansas band from just now...
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:10 PM ^
It's pretty sad that, with league realignment a few years ago, Texas and Kansas get each other in Rivalry Week. They used to face Texas A&M and Missouri. Those were real rivalries.
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:18 PM ^
MSU/Rutgers. Lol but would of rather it be PSU just because PSU shoud traditionally beat them and it's looks better.
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:48 PM ^
Rutgers is perfect for Sparty. They will struggle tomorrow with Rutgers. They are on upset alert!! lol
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:14 PM ^
Harbaughlujah
November 23rd, 2018 at 2:34 PM ^
If we do get the same refs as 2016, then it's just confirmation that Warde really does suck at his job.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:09 PM ^
tie game nebraska! dude got drilled in the back of the end zone on the 2 point conversion but got a foot down. well done. the big ten west needs nebraska to come back up in the world.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:12 PM ^
If you're not watching Iowa / Nebraska, now might be a good time.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:17 PM ^
Fuck O'Neill and Fuck Iowa
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:20 PM ^
It seems like every time I watch Iowa, they win with a last second fg.
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:21 PM ^
Somebody finally punched Kirk Ferentz
November 23rd, 2018 at 3:22 PM ^
No he chewed his gum so hard he bloodied his upper lip.
November 23rd, 2018 at 4:12 PM ^
I absolutely hate how he (and other open mouth gum chewers) chews his god damn gum.
November 23rd, 2018 at 4:11 PM ^
November 23rd, 2018 at 4:55 PM ^
I want the win so that ESPN and the media will shut their pie holes about UCF deserving a playoff spot because they beat the powerhouses of Syracuse and Cincinnati.
November 23rd, 2018 at 5:27 PM ^
McKenzie Milton out for UCF --- man, that injury was horrible.
No matter what one thinks of UCF and the national Championship, he had a hell of a 2-year-run.
November 23rd, 2018 at 6:03 PM ^
that leg did not look right. not sure how many ligaments he tore but that looked like a pretty serious injury. hope he can recover and possibly see the NFL. don't know his eligibility status.
November 23rd, 2018 at 4:53 PM ^
I dunno, points will be a premium, I think USF should have attempted the FG.
November 23rd, 2018 at 6:36 PM ^
The two clowns calling the Virginia/Va Tech game are complete idiots, so clueless. Too bad because it's a really good game.
November 23rd, 2018 at 6:57 PM ^
They're so bad. Apparently RPO's are the reason two quarterbacks went down with injury this evening. Also, I'm pretty sure he was inquiring that quarterbacks should never run.
November 23rd, 2018 at 6:41 PM ^
The Virginia-Virginia Tech game has been really great. UVa just took the lead.
November 23rd, 2018 at 7:08 PM ^
that game is wild. VT just tied it. wow
November 23rd, 2018 at 6:50 PM ^
I don’t understand the USF defense - play 15 yards off the receivers and let UCF dink and dunk.
