Damn that sucks, he seemed like he would be great and I was rooting for him since I knew his older brother. Also I want to see the Jersey guys work out.

This one is actually a bit surprising to me, but then again, I don't think he had even broken the ceiling on being in the rotation as yet at LB despite being on special teams, and I certainly won't fault players for constantly examining their situation and trying to find one which suits them a little better if indeed that's what they are doing. Best of luck to him.

I hate it when good players decide to quit and transfer.  Is he even finishing out the season?  Maybe he realized he wasn’t going to ever start at Michigan and feels he needs to go to a less competitive program.

One has to wonder if that senior year injury caused him to never get back to form or if he just didn’t pick up the playbook fast enough.  I’m with the majority on here that was very intrigued by his potential, but to see all the guys pass him it, it’s evident potential is still there but the production has not arrived.

It would have been a 3 man battle between him Anthony and Mcgrone next year for the 3-5 spots next year, he obviously understands he’s behind both of them.

Wish him the best... Go Blue!

Damn. I remember being really excited about him committing. He was the kind of sideline to sideline LB that I thought would be the perfect foil to an Urban Meyer offense.

Best of luck to him for wherever he goes.

I swear that I just said I had a feeling he'd transfer last Saturday. I've seen him play maybe once on ST but it wasn't even that. It just felt like one of those kids we randomly lose every year, a mid-high 4 star type that didn't pan out here but will go on to be an NFL talent somewhere else.

I don't know how he could be behind Anthony, atm. The little time he got was rough. He didnt even look like a LB. I'm sure he'll be fine but there had to be some health or other hurdles to be behind him on the depth chart right now.

Odd timing.  Singleton was going to be a thumper, not sure if the injury is a big reason for this or not, but I think he was the highest rated LB that we've landed in a long while.  McGone was #118 overall, Singleton was #79.  Everyone responds to injuries differently, maybe Singleton was impatient, would not surprise me to see him become a dominant college player in another year or two.

Well he got 67 posts..I thought he had more competitive fire but not. Seems like playing time was there unless he couldn't handle Michigan
