In the OSU game last year, Harbaugh had Evans on an angle route being covered by the DE(!)  Pretty sure he sent all the WR's to the other side of the field and OSU was in man coverage (started with 2 WR's right, and the remaining WR on the left side ran a post to the right... but it's hard to tell with camera angle).  It was right after OSU scored.  It was the perfect set-up, and I mean immediately the DE is trailing and this is a big gainer.  Maybe a TD.

O'Korn dropped the snap.

Let's add Solomon, Black, and Dwumfour and finally play a big game with a full complement of players! Is that too much to ask for?

Chris is going to need some time on task to get back to game speed, but hopefully by MSU he is fully ready.  Plus, Wilson has really stepped it up and may have taken over the #2 role anyway.  Both he and Higdon have really improved our pass protection and with UW's stunts / blitz packages, we need to protect the QB in this game.  Pass blocking is not an Evans strength.

Hope like hell that some combination of Dwumfour, Kemp, and Solomon will be back on Saturday too.

Going to be a lot easier for Taylor to run right up the gut without those guys there.

I don’t think Evans is the “home run threat” that is being echoed here. Evans get top speed the fastest of our backs and is the best in the passing game and making people miss in space. As far as pure home run ability the best is Higdon. His straight line speed is elite. Tru gives a good option to spell either back and be a blocking back.

Expect to see a little less Tru, more options with Evans in the passing game, but the majority of the carries will go to Karan

I want a shifty RB back. Wiscy's DLineman our God awful slow footed. Evans can get to the next level if initial blocks break down.

I do not see it-him actually being available to play this week. The way he grabbed that hamstring...just no way. Besides, Michigan has excellent alternatives-no reason to hurry back.
