Noon Game Open Thread

A tight end named Tommy Sweeney is the essence of Boston College. Tommy Sweeney IS Boston College. But they've picked up some interesting position players. FSU and VT are scuffling. Miami might well be an illusion. Clemson is suddenly, oddly, vulnerable. BC and SU can really make moves in the ACC this year and break the stranglehold of the big 4 on titles.

Don't credit MSU's coaching staff for running a quick play.  Blame the damn geriatric replay guy for being too slow.  Maybe it's the right call, but how's that not reviewed?

Swinney took a huge gamble in naming Lawrence his starter. Especially now that Bryant is out. 

This was the potential consequence of that happening. If TL is out for an extended period of time, Clemson’s season may be over. 

Wonder if Kelly Bryant reconsiders. Don’t know if team would accept him even if Dabo would.

Sooooo...I just got home and turned on Syracuse/Clemson.  What's going on here? 

I watched Western Michigan put up 600+ yards and 42 points on this Syracuse defense a couple weeks ago. Just 6 minutes left in the 3rd and mighty Clemson only has 7 points?
