Folks, it was only a matter of time before this happened. Just stop watching. I did. There are other good late night games on.

TCU just giving the game away with completely unforced errors.  And the announcers are shocked that a team full of five stars is capable of taking advantage of those errors.  FML.

Hate to see a player hurt, but it is sort of funny that Bosa pulled his groin after the press spent all week talking about how his stretching is such a huge advantage

Glen Mason: "I see it hit the ground, but I don't see it bobble."

(Receiver never had control -- it was about as indisputable a call as you'll ever see)

Brohm sets a Purdue record for passing yards at something like 550.  Tied at 37 now.

So I get why USC sucks - Clay Helton.  But FSU?  WTH is going on there?  I thought Taggart would be a great fit, but it hasn't worked out so far.  He had Oregon humming last year, and thought he'd do pretty much the same in Tallahassee.  But they look like crap...  Is it personnel?  I know Taggart likes a spread type offense, and Fisher ran (more or less) a pro set.  But I thought there'd be enough athleticism to make it work.

Things that make you wonder about things...

Well, one year of suck.  They were 13-2 in 2014 and in the national championship game, then went 9-4 in 2015 before suddenly collapsing to 4-8 in '16.  They had a couple of nice individual games last year but also some rough ones.  I think it was his work at South Florida that got him the FSU job more than anything.

My understanding from a couple of places is that FSU has a pretty bad offensive line, and that has killed their efficiency running the ball.  And Francois hasn't taken to the offensive system the way they sort of hoped.  It's probably all fixable, but we should all remember that FSU had to play fast and loose with NCAA standards for "wins" to even make a bowl game last year; this isn't a 1-year issue.
