Michigan won't cover tomorrow nor next week.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:21 PM ^
Nobody asked you.
September 8th, 2018 at 12:32 AM ^
So following a close loss to ND, you feel the need to talk about Michigan not covering the spread in a TCU/SMU thread? Why do you do this to yourself?
September 8th, 2018 at 6:33 PM ^
You were wrong.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:10 PM ^
Should be fun to watch Ohio State blow TCU out next Saturday.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:32 PM ^
OSU is going to destroy TCU if they play like this. Gonna be another 77 point game for them
September 7th, 2018 at 11:06 PM ^
I was really hoping TCU would win, now I have a feeling Dobbins and Webber will run for 300+ TCU can’t tackle for shit and their Dline is getting pushed around.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:41 PM ^
I was hoping TCU would give OSU a game... After watching this I'm pretty sure that OSU will put up 600 yards of offense against them. I also have a dreadful suspicion that Weber will emerge as one of the top backs in the nation this season. That's a kick in the nuts because I was almost sure that he wouldn't do much of anything down there
September 7th, 2018 at 10:10 PM ^
I took SMU+24. I just need them to hang around
September 7th, 2018 at 10:30 PM ^
this might end well for you
September 8th, 2018 at 1:14 AM ^
Its looking bad man, need another td
September 7th, 2018 at 10:11 PM ^
SMU has some speed!
September 7th, 2018 at 10:14 PM ^
Too bad on the punt return getting called back. That was sweet.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:19 PM ^
I like SMU's 7 man line.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:28 PM ^
Lots of dropped balls this game. Had to have that interception.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:30 PM ^
Poor Damn Punter
September 7th, 2018 at 10:30 PM ^
This is atrocious.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:31 PM ^
Following what should have been a INT by SMU on 3rd down, the snap goes high on the punter who picks it up, drops it and it goes through the endzone for a safety making it 9-0. Sloppy field. Sloppy game by TCU thus far, getting outplayed by SMU.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:33 PM ^
rain shouldn't cause this many dropped passes, especially with how sticky those gloves are
September 7th, 2018 at 10:33 PM ^
Uh interfering with return man?
September 7th, 2018 at 10:43 PM ^
Wondered about that. Guy got ran over but it looked like he wasn't even trying to get the ball. Just trying to trick everyone into thinking he would get it. Not sure on the rule for that
September 7th, 2018 at 10:35 PM ^
OSU is going to destroy TCU. And SMU looks pretty good
September 7th, 2018 at 10:36 PM ^
Didn't SMU lose to North Texas by 23 last week?
September 7th, 2018 at 10:44 PM ^
There's a good chance that by the time we play OSU they'll be ranked #1... They had a mediocre rb as their QB for the last 4 years and now, somehow, have one of the best passers in the country
September 7th, 2018 at 11:07 PM ^
I mean he’s only played against Oregon State, but it doesn’t look like they have any competition until they play Michigan this year. Mayyyyybe Michigan State, but they didn’t look good last week either.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:16 PM ^
I don't think they'll be really challenged until The Game. I legitimately wish that they could have played JT for a decade. It was hilarious to watch that offense struggle even though they have 5 star athlets all over the field. The fact thay Meyer refused to bench Barrett in favor of the obviously superior younger guy is evidence that he's stubborn to a fault
I watched a ton of college football last weekend and I didn't see a team that looked obviously better than OSU. Their secondary looked green but other than that they looked like a top team. That bodes well for M's playoff hopes if theytcan somehow get through the rest of the season without losing again.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:28 PM ^
I agree with you 100%, they play absolutely nobody at all. Penn State looks bad, Michigan State looks bad, Wisconsin didn’t impress me much either. I think either Clemson or Bama could beat them. I don’t see Bama losing a game. Tau (not sure if that’s spelled correctly) is a monster. I feel like we’re one week in and it’s either Bama vs OSU or Bama vs Clemson for the natty. Shitty feeing IMO.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:34 PM ^
I don't think Clemson could win a shootout with OSU... Bams is a different story. Sadly, I think haskins is far better that Tua... #1 overall pick type qb. And that's fucking bizarre considering the shit show that OSU has put out at qb for the better part of 100 years (outside of smith). They've never had a top passing QB but they're somehow now fielding one of the best in the country. They have a horseshoe stuck up their ass
September 8th, 2018 at 7:41 AM ^
Love seeing the respect for Haskins and our new O, but I think y'all are a bit premature. Bama won't lose a game with that schedule, and Clemson seems to be a machine lately. Haskins has played just 1.5 games so far.....
September 8th, 2018 at 7:46 AM ^
I don't think that's fair. Compare OSU's schedule to Bama or Clemson?
September 8th, 2018 at 4:57 PM ^
He also played in Ann Arbor last fall.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:04 PM ^
SMU’s offense is bad. Defense is credible although pass defense is weak. TCU has dropped a couple of passes where the WR was wide open.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:47 PM ^
I'd feel better watching SMU play pretty well if I had data from Michigan playing well against WMU to reassure myself that against teams with less talent Michigan can perform well.
I mean, I think that's the case, but we haven't seen it yet.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:29 PM ^
That makes perfect sense to me. Inknow exactly what you're getting at.
September 7th, 2018 at 10:50 PM ^
Poor damn left tackles
September 7th, 2018 at 10:50 PM ^
Having watched TCU in person last weekend, Ohio State is going to beat them handily. This performance so far against a fairly mediocre SMU team is further confirmation.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:37 PM ^
I don't know what the Vegas line is but I'm guessing something like 45-17
September 7th, 2018 at 10:52 PM ^
SMU just lost their LT to an apparent ankle injury
September 7th, 2018 at 10:55 PM ^
Impressive
September 7th, 2018 at 10:58 PM ^
and the refs miss a blatant block in the back against TCU on the TD. No longer a real game, ref game, I'm out.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
You will be missed Steve from Florida (fka Bobo)
September 7th, 2018 at 11:39 PM ^
There is no such thing as a pefectly officiated football game. If that's what you're expecting then you're going to be perpetually disappointed
September 7th, 2018 at 10:59 PM ^
Wow, an actual ex Detroit Lions QB with a (football related) job..... that never happens....... God speed Dan Orlovsky
September 7th, 2018 at 11:14 PM ^
We'll always have this moment:
I feel bad for him that he will always be remembered for this one play.
But not bad enough not to post it.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:20 PM ^
One of the saddest pictures in football history.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:29 PM ^
Honestly it was hilarious and also the quintessential Lions moment. What better way to symbolize the futility of the team than for the backup QB to run out the back of the endzone on the road during a winless season. "Same old Lions."
Moments like that are what we show to the world when they try to comprehend what it is like to be a Lions fan.
September 7th, 2018 at 11:31 PM ^
He was meant to play CFL ball, would’ve had plenty of room back there
September 7th, 2018 at 11:12 PM ^
Smu bout to get smoked
September 7th, 2018 at 11:29 PM ^
Center never snapped it. He just moved his hand an left the ball on the ground. That’s a new one
September 7th, 2018 at 11:37 PM ^
I guess a man can't catch a ball with his nuts.
