I sincerely apologize for my guarantee

Submitted by Mineral King on

I sincerely apologize for my guarantee yesterday. I WAS WRONG!

It will get better, I promise (I know, to most that means nothing). I hope when I check back in we will all be happy and 10-1 heading into Columbus, with a shot at the playoffs.

Dylan is the permanent backup and JHudson may be starting sooner rather than later btw.

No more words. Take care!

You don’t owe anyone an apology.

The appropriate penance would be for you to STFU for say an entire season with your “inside info.”

If you want to post, say you are speculating like the rest of us.

I agree, this dude said dcaff was the backup for a long time. No idea if that was a guess, but he doubled down on it multiple times. Besides that and his prediction on Shea being eligible, I’ve seen nothing that he actually knows anything, but whatever, we’ll probably never know.

You were right about Dylan McCaffrey. He looked much, much better than most people thought he would.

The team just did not look like they were in the frame of mind it was a real, regular season  game. Hopefully they will come out ready next week, and completely dominate Western, and win by 50.

Fuck all the haters. This board is a cesspool of the worst Michigan fans.

Everything is still on the table, penn st and MSU are both overrated. Wisconsin is beatable. Win the conference and the rest will shake out. Go blue.

The "haters" comment is getting sooooo tired around here! In all your knowledge please give a reasonable explanation as to why MSU and PSU are "overrated" and Michigan is not. Is it based on their performance this past weekend? You will lose all credibility with that lame argument. What kind of confidence did Michigan instill in you with their performance? I know you will claim to be the "SuperFan" and will support the team no matter what. Those that criticize are "haters" and know nothing. To think UM will rattle off  9 in a row is quite ludicrous based on their last performance, possible yes, likely no. To think we are just going to EL to face "overated" MSU  and win is very questionable considering recent history. PSU and Wiscy are beatable, hell every team IS beatable, it's just if they have a winning record UM struggles to beat them. So take off you homer glasses, lose you Michigan arrogance, and stop with such juvenile drivel.

Psst: message board posters don’t play nor influence games. Being optimistic about your team is the fun part. Don’t apologize for shit.

I could not watch the game live since I was at work. But I did watch it on youtube and it was not the entire disaster I was thinking after reading the board. The D made some dumb penalties that kept drives going. Plus the lucky pass catch that should have been knocked away or INT. ND OL looked as bad as ours but their QB used his speed to dunk inside the rush. What happened to our speedy LB, they should have taken away those inside runs. The offense drove the ball down into ND territory often but a stupid mistake cost them TDs and a FG. The only time our QB had no time to throw is when ND put 6 men on the line and we had an empty backfield. You could always see that wide ND DE ready for a speed rush with no one to block him. They at least needed a full back in the back field to pick up the speed rush. I predicted ND would win on a last second TD but did not expect the D to give up 21 points in the first half. Oh well move on and improve.

uminks,

most people commenting on this blog, on the internet in general for that matter, don't know what they're doing. Good that you looked into it for yourself.

What stood out to me the most is that it looked like the team did not come out ready to play in a real game. It looked like they were not mentally ready to throw down in a real game. It took until the 2nd half to see that kind of play.

And yeah, the penalties hurt. I saw something from Chase Winovich I didn't think I'd see.

You better play much better ir you are planning to go pro after this season. My guess is that you will still be here during your senior season, competing for that number QB spot.
