The program is at a crossroads. If you really can’t see that I don’t know what to tell you.

Didn’t read the article, but ultimately, let’s say we go 8-5 this year.

Who do you want instead of Harbaugh? Honest question. Because there’s nobody out there right now that had more of a track record of success at both levels than Harbaugh did.

Read the article. It has nothing to do with Hot Seats or anything else. It’s about Harbaugh finally having a QB. For a Michigan blog, I’m surprised how many people can’t take the 2 minutes to READ the article. Hell, I read more bullshit in my English debate class at West’s quad in the first 5 minutes of class.

I would want Harbaugh to go out and hire the best college OC possible, just like he did with Don Brown.  (That OC would likely focus on what makes college offenses effective -- use of tempo, spacing, option, QB as at least a threat to run, etc.  Magnus's website had a link to Smart Football article about a week ago that went over these elements.)

Not sure why anyone is up in arms about this. They're writing about a major football program with a unique coach and notable QB transfer leading that plays into their Gameday location and the article's premise is not outlandish.

I still have a 1997 Sporting News college football preview magazine.  (shoot, I have a 1992 football magazine.  I'm old).  The magazine you could buy for $5 at the local bookstore.

One of their feature articles, before all the individual team previews, was by Michigan alum Michael Bradley.  It was entitled "What is wrong with Michigan?"  Bradley referred to Michigan as a "withering national power" and "unprepared to handle the increasing competition in the B1G."

Well, you know how 1997 went.

Don't take these articles too seriously.

It was good article. To say Michigan is at a crossroads is fairly apt. The QB trajectory has two ways it can go - continue to be a liability or break this offense through to what Jim is known for (QB development). I think the OP needs to calm down a bit. Headlines are meant to grab your attention and read. Apparently you didn’t because the author clearly states that Harbaugh is definitely NOT on the hot seat. If you don’t like sensational headlines, edit your own.

I didn't give it a click, but the subject line says that he has to win big games.  I'm sure the article is full of crap and just taking advantage of the Harbaugh name for an article, but he does need to win some big games.  That part is not a stretch.

This makes my head hurt. Not to mention that some people on the board agree with it.

There isn’t a better coach than Harbaugh waiting to come to Michigan. Less than 10 years ago we were a dumpster fire that couldn’t stop an Illinois Offense. Then Hoke happened.

If the Michigan fan base runs off Harbaugh anytime soon, then I’m out.

OP - spend next offseason on reading comprehension. You’ll be less likely to want to “ban” people. In the meantime, I suggest you start a passive protest by not posting.

Your title and post completely misrepresents the article.  It’s actually a good article. I enjoyed it. It actually says he’s not on the hot seat.  He’s at a crossroads which is true.   I don’t think you really read the whole thing.
