Overlooked and unmentioned, of course, is the fact that many of these issues are identified as issues and will be (someday, eventually) worked. Now, it's perfectly legit to wonder how long that will take, as we have experience with site upgrades being *cough* behind schedule.

I'm going to hold off on judgment until football season. Yeah, people aren't commenting as much. Some of it is just transition cost; it's not as familiar. I've been a ghost for two weeks due to other reasons, and don't always comment as much on the minor stuff. But I'm pretty sure I'll be drawn back in during football season.

That's when we'll see how the front page works when we've got 18 million articles posted per day. And we'll see how comfortable we are with the message board (and whether some key features are in place) when we're trying to analyze QB play and celebrating (or, more noticeably, mourning) after a big game.

Really Stephen-many are being worked on"?

Go to the Sticky thread and show me which ones I mentioned in my Howard Beal-ish rant are prioritized for a fix.  Cause I see exactly one-editing-as being identified for repair-someday.  It's not high on the list and to my aging eyes nothing else i mentioned is seen as a problem needing to be fixed.

Look at the comments around my post and the voting.  Maybe the vast majority of visitors here think this new site is wonderful but the people like you and me who used to post regularly hate it.  And we're way beyond "it's just now you're going to LOVE it" phase.  Way past.

Its ass.

In addition to liking the new layout, I am very appreciative the board is no longer the same old cronies rehashing the same old arguments with the same old gifs in every thread.

Sometimes companies have to clean up and clear out to move forward.

Beveled Guilt and ad revenue is what ultimately impacts Brian the most, not comments on the board. I wonder how those metrics are doing?

Okay? You do realize that Brian is not developing the site, right? Maybe you missed the million mentions of HUEL. Mgo has been working on HTTV while the devs have been working on the site. Are they supposed to just not launch it? It was already later than usual.

It blows.  There is a huge problem when the site's functionality is more frustrating than actually sitting at my desk and doing my job.  How have they not stopped writing and focused everything on just fixing this flaming piece of trash? How do you not take functioning over flashy every single time? Make MGoBlog Fun Again!

nice offseason fluff. My biggest takeaway is when he talks about NFL vs college you can tell he absolutely loves being here, becoming the players favorite coach and recognizes he doesn’t have that opportunity at the next level.  Here’s to Jimmy staying for many years to come!  Go Blue!!!

I don’t know guys, we probably shouldn’t be doing Harbaugh-in-a-Dodge Demon-donuts on the field until we start beating our rivals again.

Also, I agree with everyone else who thinks the new site sucks. In addition to the awful layout and non-user friendly format, the banner looks like a mediocre high schooler photoshop attempt.
