Helo: George Johnson III
Here's to another commit. Welcome home, George.
Primary recruiter = Don Brown
So I am happy
Hello.
Freaking non-edit function sucks.
Gotta slow it down a bit when you’re rushing to break the news lol
Lol. No, it's my constatnt changing from keyboard to tablet. My tablet can't keep up with the flurry of typing.
don't worry redwhiteandMGoBlue.... It happens to lots of guys....
And I hear there's a pill for that....
How true that is.
Welcome George, way to GoBlue!
En Fuego!
He's not even worthy of a properly spelled Hello post. Who would have thought this would be happening going into year 4 of Harbaugh? /s
And the hits just keep coming. Welcome aboard. Go Blue!!!
his Hudl film is very interesting and he definitely looks like a playmaker. curious to see where he would end up playing for us.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if they end up turning him around and have him playing on the other side of the ball. It could happen.
He is a great talent, and it has happened before. Look how great Chase Winovich has turned on the other side of the ball.
Is this really happening? Someone needs to make a rundown of all the commits. I’m starting to lose track.
Excited to see what he can do in situational packages.
Who is next?
Quinten Johnson, probably .
Hell yeah, dude is taking off!
Wait, that is what you meant by Helo, right? Like short for helicopter?
Welcome to Ann Arbor, George Johnson III !!! You're going to love it there, Welcome to Michigan!!!
and helo to you too!
Give us all the commits
Welcome George!!!
I like this guy and glad we're getting him. If he can translate that cut and burst he shows on film into precision route running, he'll be open every play.
So....are class should be filled by Tuesday.
Our* dammit
If he is the next Jeremy Gallon I would be super thrilled!
Freak Yeah!
Every one of these commits are very fast for their position
Best twitter announcement ever. Very classy.
Love the way this class is coming together - coaches appear to be very deliberate in their selections. 5 Star rankings are great if the player brings along a high motor and a willingness to work hard within the construct of the team. 5 star ratings without heart and willingness to sacrifice for the team will get beat every time.
Deliberate? Michigan throws out more offers than just about anyone.
Interesting he say he sees himself catching touchdowns at the Big House, so he´s definately considering himself as a WR. Good for him, good for us, Go blue!
Welcome George! You've made a great choice.
This is the first commit that I'm not all that excited about. Is he all that fast? I just don't see what's special about him....
Somebody explain to me why he's a good pick up, cause I'd love to be excited.
yeah i'm not sure on this one either. He is outrunning HS competition. but he doesn't have elite speed or shiftiness. Doesn't mean he won't be good, just don't think he has the potential to be a star. But if he is smart, runs good routes, has good hands and is a willing blocker, i'm ok with that.
Gritty, coaches kid, former QB; you get the idea.
Why do we care that he's a former QB? Except for the occasional Wildcat, he's not going to be tossing the ball.
