While I don't love this from a fan perspective, I think it's really nice for the players. I'm sure it is cool to play there and many of our players won't end up in the NFL (not a statement on player quality rather the difficulty of making it in the NFL) so this gives them the experience of playing in a great NFL stadium.

Although I have a pretty strong distaste for neutral-site games, you weren't going to get much out of Florida for a home and home anyway. I honestly can't recall the last time they went north of the Mason-Dixon Line for anything. But I would've loved to go down and play a game in The Swamp and then have them come up to the Big House.

But our recent track record against Florida, regardless of sport, has been pretty darn good. As someone who grew up in Florida and having had to put up with the insufferable fans who thought their team walked on water, I'd be happy to send them out with yet another L.

2002 Outback Bowl;  2008 Captial One Bowl;  Last year's NCAA Elite 8 match-up.   We are developing a bit of one-sided history with the Gators.

In 1996 Michigan beat undefeated Ohio State, opening the way for Florida to move up and win the national title vs Florida State in the Sugar Bowl.

In 1997 Florida returned the favor, beating undefeated #1 Florida State in both teams' regular season finale to open the way for Michigan to play for and win a share of the national title in the Rose Bowl.

They couldn't have won theirs without us.  We couldn't have won ours without them.

However I still hope we blow them up in Dallas...

Brandon's a tird obviously, but I think they can schedule the game whereever they want.  MICH just needs to win it.

Prepare and no excuses.

Champions of The West "means" the team can go anywhere and make it happen.

Strap yo jock strap on and fight to win!

GO BLUE!
