Kinda drove me crazy as I thought there were penalty flags on the field at times.

Now I'm sort of wistful that I don't have vision strong enough to have been confused by the shoes. They looked a bit different to me but I guess the peepers are starting to go.

It wasn't like it took away from the game at all, there were just a few times where they caught my eye. I was at the game so I'm not sure how they looked on TV.

Clown shoes was my first thought when I saw them on TV.

Clown shoes was my first thought too. They look really stupid.
Michigan has long worn simple black shoes, almost a tradition.

Not all that concerned about the being the fashion police for the football team. I'll take a 12-0 record with pink polka dot uniforms, before a perfectly "cool" looking team with a 7-5 record. I don't understand folks that get all caught up in what the team wore - as if it really matters? For those criticizing the shoes, I haven't been to the circus lately but last I looked those shoes are far from any clown shoes I've ever seen.

Shoez? I dont think it works as well.

Teams have to have the glitz to attract recruits. New unis every week, Chrome helmets, fancy shoes etc etc. It's only money most schools don't have.

Clown shoes.

I just don't see any imagination or sleekness to these.
Auburn keeps things pretty traditional but have much better looking cleats.

Hey, idk if they we're the reason we played better on saturday, but you can't throw it out the window.
One of my favorite additions was the undershirt some players wore. They were camo, and said beat ohio on them. Probably a "going to war" type message from Brady to the players. Really seemed like we had that mentality for the whole game, up to and including the 2 point conversion.
It was like we were about to drop the bomb on Hiroshima, but it blew up in transit. Oh well.
Peaking out here
here
Brady even has a little poking out
I saw some on the sidelines, can't find a good picture though.

I'll say it: I find the camo trend in sports uniforms to be stupid and trashy.
December 2nd, 2013 at 11:03 AM ^
I totally agree with you. But seeing how this is just an undershirt some of the players, coaches & random people on the sideline that I cannot identify wore as a symbolism of what this game is and means to these players, I was all for it in this sense.
Now those stupid camo basketball jerseyz adidas put out last year were, as you said, stupid & trashy.
Although if the Oregon Ducks had a camo jersey for opening day of duck season or something, that'd be intelligent and trashy.

I find the whole sports and war comparison rediculous. From "The U" wearing combat fatigues to Kellen Winslow calling himself a "soldier" it's nauseating and beyond stupid when taken to this level.

I actually didn't notice during the game. Ronald McDonald was my first thought. Does Adidas make anything that doesn't look bad?
December 2nd, 2013 at 12:51 PM ^
is my first thought. I didn't like the shoes.

Until I saw this post. I don't give a fuck about shoes. I am sick of fucking losing to Ohio, and losing in general.
