The Mack Brown experience. There's still time for it.

Is it not a touch down if you have possesion and hit the pylon?

I believe it ranked #1 on MGo's "worst calls of the decade, in which Michigan gets bailed out."

What game was that in?

...if you're inbounds, have possession and touch the pylon.
Touching the pylon doesn't by itself put you inbounds. You have to touch the ground while in possession.
October 12th, 2013 at 3:46 PM ^
Then isn't the back pylon meaningless then? The first touch of the ground would be enough.
October 12th, 2013 at 3:50 PM ^
Maybe if Bob Beamon caught the pass and jumped over the entire end zone?
I was thinking front pylon; that was the situation in the Michigan game a few years back.

Missouri might not be dead.

So, Indiana gave up 472 yards, which is a typical Hoosier performance, but MSU was - by their standard - more or less gashed for 372 yards by an uptempo offense. Between both teams, there were an impressive 17 penalties in this game for a total of 150 yards between the two of them.
October 12th, 2013 at 3:31 PM ^
How about the typical dirty MSU penalties?
October 12th, 2013 at 3:31 PM ^
Will we still hear ESPN trumpet them as a BCS title contender? I'm waiting for the day when they advocate that a 3-loss SEC team should still be in the title game over othe non-SEC teams
October 12th, 2013 at 3:42 PM ^
I think they were contenders before they had injuries to basically all their skill players.

What was the o/u for the Baylor game?
October 12th, 2013 at 3:49 PM ^
(EDIT: Oops, I see we have a new thread.)
October 12th, 2013 at 3:49 PM ^
Probably correct. I'm still rooting for Northwestern because I like them better, but I would think any Leader beating any Legend is always in our best interest.
October 12th, 2013 at 3:49 PM ^
Yep. Unlike last week when my heart was with NU even though it would help us for them to lose today we want Wiscy no question. If NU loses today they have to go 3-0 vs UM, Neb, and MSU just to be probably tied for the division win.

TIL, Joel Stave was a preferred walk-on.

Wondering if UGA will drop out of the top 20 after losing to an unranked Mizzu at home. Or, is the SEC bias going to remain in effect and a 2 loss SEC team will remain ranked higher than undefeated team a "lesser" conference?
