Need to get off Denard's nuts. Was he electric? Sure. But his play was as maddening as it was brilliant.

No one was bitching after Gardner's performance last week.

I appreciate all Denard did as a player and human being but fans need to move on from his era. At least Devin can throw the ball down the field consistently. Time to tell Borges to open up the playbook downfield.

Yes it does. This is about preparation. They had the whole week to get ready for this game and Bowden's crew seem to making all the right calls. If the Akron players "want it more" that's also on the coaches. Hoke should spend less time talking to ESPN and more time coaching that weak defensive line. I mean that's his supposed strength right??

Good thing Akron sucks, or this would be ugly for us on the scoreboard. We get the ball back for the second half though, we need to come out and control the los. We're getting dominated up front.

UCF was up by 5 TDs at this point.  Akron got outgained by James Madison by 150some yards.  Good god, it's like they think they won the national title last week and had this week off.  The O-line has been terrible, the D has been poor and we've played three deep with none of them making plays.  Devin is obviously not playing well, but NO ONE else is playing well either.  I thought after the ND game that we were relatively safe against our remaining, non-ohio opponents.  I take it all back.  This type of half will doom us against half of our schedule.  Even sparty would have a FG offensively but two or three defensive TDs at this point.  This half has been every bit as bad as both sparty games.  Can't give them any more crap unless we put 40 second half points on the board.

19 yards rushing in the first half. I thought we were going to have multiple 100 yard rushers. This is as bad as it gets. No where to go but up in the second half
