Mid Afternoon Games Thread

SDSU @ OSU is the big game here. Oregon is currently in the first quarter at Virginia, as is Buffalo at Baylor. South Carolina v. Georgia kicks off at 4:30.

Miller is currently being attended to on the field, still early in the first quarter, 0-0 with OSU inside the red zone after a punt.

Oregon is getting a cool 13.7 yards per carry on the ground right now in Charlottesville. If the trend holds, they'd be in danger of putting up 600-700 yards on Virginia and doing very little of it in the air.

Meanwhile, back in East Lansing, USF has managed to get to the MSU 32 or so. Time for their drive to implode somehow, speaking of trends.....and there it is, Evald is sacked and then they go for it on 4th and 5. Spartans ball.

How is it not motion when the RB comes forward and never actually stops before the ball is snapped?

Also how long does he have to be stopped? Is it a 'count'? I would have flagged them twice so far this game.

I walked away for a moment only to come back and realize that ESPNU had thoughtgully dumped me into the Toledo-Mizzou game. The only takeaway I have from this so far, from what they have talked about, is that Jeremiah Detmer is a great field goal kicker and Maty Mauk somehow managed to erase a good chunk of Mizzou's rushing yardage.

Nope...Think he was dragging ass again on their opening drive (which, not long ago).  Georgia would be smart to utilize the uptempo of which they've done, finding out whether last week was a 'fluke" for Clowney and co. of if they really are out of shape.  It very well be the latter.
