Clemson coach working hard on killing Taj Boyd before halftime.

Alabama needs to get the O Line fixed. They have a week off before A&M.
Auburn is benefiting from some favorible non-calls on pass interference.
Georgia and Clemson is looking like the game of the week.
Not a bad opening weekend all in all.
August 31st, 2013 at 9:59 PM ^
Nebraska might have awakened after the half. Nice spin moves to get in for the TD.
August 31st, 2013 at 10:07 PM ^
fuming. Not sure about that call. Roughing the passer on a sack (supposedly because it was around the collar).
August 31st, 2013 at 10:20 PM ^
The Wyoming coach is an absolute dumbass. Why would you let the clock run out when you were at the 50 and had been running all over Nebraska in the first half (300 YARDS)?! They could've gotten 4 plays off and the idiots took a knee. Now Nebraska has the game in control.

UGA is a considerably more palatable option for SEC Champion than Alabama.

2nd year in a row right?
August 31st, 2013 at 10:51 PM ^
Yes, but last year they won on a 2pt conversion in OT to win the game. This year WKU kicked their ass. That game is final now.

What is going on?
FCS McNeese State humiliates USF 53-21 in Tampa.....
Are we to the point that we need to integrate FBS and FCS like Division 1 basketball? These upsets are happening as if not more frequently.
August 31st, 2013 at 11:02 PM ^
Something I'm wondering about: do you think the playoff system is helping top-end FCS schools in recruiting? If I were a recruit at a level where my choices were a solid FCS school with a chance at a playoff run and a lower-echelon Sun Belt or MAC team where the best I could possibly hope for, even if everything came together and we ran off a near-perfect season, is a crappy bowl game...I'd be leaning toward the former.
Forced to choose between NDSU or Akron, where do you go?
August 31st, 2013 at 10:48 PM ^
I can see why LSU fans have such a love/hate relationship with him. Such talented teams but they do a ridiculous amount of stupid things.

is no joke. Their defense and passing game are pretty mediocre though. They should present a problem like they did last year, but Michigan is the better overall team.
August 31st, 2013 at 10:56 PM ^
If you're watching Clemson-Georiga...that's what we need to do next week. 12th man helps.
August 31st, 2013 at 10:56 PM ^
Over at the Clemson-Georgia game, we're coming up on the 700-yard mark for total offense between these teams. Neither team has been terribly successful on third down, yet both are 100% on fourth down conversions. Defensive showcase indeed.
Clemson stalls out in Georgia territory and goes for the FG, which is good. They take a very likely temporary 31-28 lead with about half of the third quarter in the books now. Of note, all four of UGA's TDs are rushing TDs. Aaron Murray has no scores to show for 201 yards of passing.

Northern fumbles at the State 1, State recovers. They have life but they need to go 99 yards in a minute.
Never mind. State fails on 4th at their own 23, game over.

Is Colter out for the game or are they still unsure?
August 31st, 2013 at 11:18 PM ^
That makes 5 FCS-over-FBS wins now I think
- Towson over UConn
- NDSU over KState
- E Washington over Oregon State
- McNeese St over USF
- Northern Iowa over Iowa State
August 31st, 2013 at 11:39 PM ^
Probably will be Eastern Illinois over SDSU - 20 pt lead under 5 remaining
Edit: Confirmed.

Funny that someone with the handle "MGoClimb" would respond. Ever been to Vedauwoo out here? It's about 20 minutes East of Laramie here and an incredible place to climb. The area has great climbing, hiking, and mountain biking.
That said, I love Michigan, but Wyoming is a relatively close second. I love the country out this way, and it's university (Wyoming only has one university).
