Michigan Basketball vs. MSU Open Thread
Tom Izzo told him he didn't feel the same way and couldn't they just be friends?
I'm not feeling good about this game. That said, who knows what will happen in this game coming up. In all honesty, what I don't want is a nailbiter that we end up losing; not that that wouldn't be a good thing, especially if defense seemed improved and certain young players showed up, but the emotional toll that type of game will put on me on this hangover-ridden Sunday will not bode well. (I know...way to make it all about me)
Go Blue.
....belongs in a different decade.
If Hardaway and/or Stauskas get going, watch out.
Go Blue!
Raftery makes me happy.
Beat state
Hopefully Appling continues to play not to his best and Burke really gets the better of him today.
Oh, sweet move!
Even though Stauskas didn't get a foul called or anything it's encouraging to see us attack the rim early. Good.
THJ just cuts right through State's D for a dunk. Awesome.
Can we get some foul calls at home?
wow..that hurts
one of Burke's best starts ever. Looks wicked and like he will accept anything less than a victory. Will be interesting how long he will be able to sustain this energy/focus and how MSU will try to adjust.
Defensive intensity all right, though not great. Like that they are taking the ball to the rack.
Vicious elbow delivered to Stauskas.
couple mental mistakes already. Need to get him in the game offensively
Still kinda fuming over GRIII's missed shot on the breakaway. Not what happened on the offensive end, but how long it took for him to get back on d, which honestly never really happened. That kid needs to wake the fuck up.
Am I the only one who is getting a blurry, dark TV feed?
Yep.
Needs to attack Payne.
Still missing assignments on D but at least the team is playing tough today.
hope stauskas isnt hurt badly, haven't heard anything yet?
get some fouls, some high-% twos, and get them to sag in.
are opposing teams 100% from 3's at the top of the key against us this season? :P
That's not so much teams just getting incredibly lucky/hot against us from 3, but more of a consequence of how wide open our defense tends to leave guys behind the arc.
Edit: that was meant for kehnonymous' comment
Good start boys. Good start. Payne, with that outside shot, is a Pain to defend...
LETS GO BLUE!
