I don't know if the wolverine is the only one to break this story, but it usually bodes well for school X when their rivals site is the one breaking the news on omg shirtless guy

I'd like to think Michigan has this in the bag, but a 18 year old's mind can change at the drop of a hat. And I know he's wanted to play in the South.

But ohh, that offensive line he'd be running behind here....

When it comes to Green, I like to remember the old Ziploc commercials: Yellow (technically Maize) and Blue make Green.  Let's hope that Ziploc was right all along!

I don't know why but his highlight film is underwhelming me. He doesn't look particularly fast or the kind of guy that can cut ona dime. Does anyone else agree after watching his tape? I know he's been offered by everyone so there must be something there that people are seeing. I know he has prototypical NFL tailback size, but so did Kevin Grady when he was a recruit.

The few times that he does really break away, he does seem to have decent speed for such a big guy (and certainly faster than Deveon Smith).  4.3ish speed?  Eh, I don't see it unless the competition he plays against is so good that they can just make him look slower by comparison.  However, he does have very good acceleration.  Once he sees an opening, he gets up to top speed very quickly to me.  He can make a move in traffic as well, but he doesn't make the open field Reggie Bush type cuts that you often see out of top flight RB recruits.  He tends to just head straight up field.  His running style does seem very mature.  Overall, I'd be increadibly pleased with him at UM.  I do think he is the most complete and explosive back we would have on our roster, not to mention a completely college ready body.

I somewhat agree, which is why I'm not as high on him as others.  I don't think he's the type of guy who can carry a team on his back without a good offensive line.  There are guys who can create on their own because of their speed, vision, and cutting ability, and he's not one of them.  It sort of confuses me why Rivals thinks he's the #1 back in the country.

HOWEVER, I do think that if he committed somewhere like Alabama, Michigan (with the line it's building), or Wisconsin (with the way they've blocked in recent years), he could have a very good career like Montee Ball.

Is he the most talented pure running back in the nation?  Not in my opinion, because there are several guys I'd put above him.  Could he end up having the best college career?  Possibly, if he chooses the right school.
