Count 'em, four gifts in the last two minutes, including the refusal to overturn the non-touchdown ruling at the end.
Pretty poor, and pretty cowardly; however, Stanford gave their own gifts on ND's last drive.

usually I'd be buzzed/drunk and getting rowdy at this point, but the girlfriends parents are in town so I'm sitting on the couch sober and will be going out to a nice dinner later. After which, of course, I will get drunk and have a real wool lime.

Are you going to Home Depot to pick out some wallpaper? Maybe you'll hit Bed Bath and Beyond?? I doubt you'll have enough time.

Zooker is the most popular guy in Champaign.
Herbie picking Purdue HAHAHAHA!

eleven Tech drives:
- 1 fumble
- 1 interception
- 1 missed field goal
- 1 punt
- 7 touchdowns
Good think WVU won the turnover battle or this game might have been a blowout.
October 13th, 2012 at 6:52 PM ^
It would be fun to watch ND walk off the field crying this evening.
October 13th, 2012 at 6:53 PM ^
Yes, but the more they win the more our losses look respectable.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:00 PM ^
Yes, either way tonight will be a win-win for me.

Rees sacked in OT. Keep it up Stanford.
October 13th, 2012 at 6:56 PM ^
So when do we start IlliniQuest?
October 13th, 2012 at 6:58 PM ^
Potatoes.

Is Gibson moonlighting at Stanford or something?
October 13th, 2012 at 6:58 PM ^
Wow. ND recievers making Rees look good. He chucked one up to avoid another sack that got brought in, then threw the ball behind his man for a TD.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:00 PM ^
More like Stanford defensive coverage making Rees look good. Should have played the ball on the PI call, on the Riddick 3rd down catch and Jones was wide open on the TD
October 13th, 2012 at 7:00 PM ^
Did anyone catch any of the WVU game today? What happened to them?
October 13th, 2012 at 7:03 PM ^
They played their typical defense and their offense didn't show up against a good defense.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:09 PM ^
WVU is not good. They struggled to put away Baylor, and allowed 31 points to Marshall. The only reason they were rated as high as they were is because they scored a bunch on Texas, but Texas does not have a good defense. People want to believe they do because they're Texas, but they don't.

ND losing a game or three won't hurt our schedule too bad. ND has a tough schedule. And I don't want them in the NCG
October 13th, 2012 at 7:05 PM ^
We clearly aren't the best in the nation, 'bama showed us that. So all that matters is being best in the Big Ten, and that has nothing to do with ND. Additionally, this year big ten wins are less impressive to pollsters. If this was bball and we cared about making the tourney, I would agree with you. But in football, I don't think ND"s success matters.
And I don't like them.

ND is one of our biggest recruiting rivals, so them doing well is not good for us, IMO.

Golson left with an injury. Rees came in and has played the rest of the game.

October 13th, 2012 at 7:05 PM ^
here is a stat for you, the only thing in common with that 67-65 game two years ago, is M scored 45 points in regulation.
I love a great defensive squad
October 13th, 2012 at 7:06 PM ^
CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck you, Notre Dame!
October 13th, 2012 at 7:27 PM ^
Don't you mean, f you, officials and replay officals? That was clearly a TD for Stanford. Complete and utter bullsh*t officiating.
Notre Dame should consider forgoing the rest of their home games this season. Three games, three nail biters. Away from South Bend they have been blowing people out.

October 13th, 2012 at 7:07 PM ^
You never like to see ND people happy, but one always can appreciate a good goal line stand, especially with so much on the line.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:07 PM ^
That's a TD. The ball def broke the plane. But prob won't be overturned.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:07 PM ^
That was a TD. Man Notre Dame are serious pretenders.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:09 PM ^
How'd you come to that conclusion after this game?
October 13th, 2012 at 7:07 PM ^
Hell of a stand by the ND defense there.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:07 PM ^
be a TD. I may have spoken too soon.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:07 PM ^
Ball's in the endzone for a touchdown.
But Notre Dame rules are in effect.
October 13th, 2012 at 7:08 PM ^
Looked like a TD to me. But yet again, why the fuck is there no camera on the goal line?
