Rich Rods team up 21-0 vs. SC St.

next week when they play Oregon. Over/under combined points 80 ish?

I can't wait to see Arizona get into the meat of PAC-12 play. It will be very interesting. USC, Stanford, and Oregon will probably be the best teams Rich Rod has faced since Georgia in the Sugar Bowl way back in the day.

on defense is tough. I think next week is going to be another classic UMv. ND game. I'm a little worried about ND running and working in PA agains this Michigan defense.
September 15th, 2012 at 11:49 PM ^
That's certainly possible that ND is tough up front, but this game can't be used as evidence of that conclusion. Michigan State sucks up front. I just don't get why when an entire shitty offensive line returns the press concludes they'll suddenly be good. Denard has never had issues running against ND (or anyone with Wisconsin level talent in the defensive secondary) and I don't think he'll have a problem racking up yards next week. I think we need more activity out of our receiving corps. If we get that ND won't be much of a problem.

The entire Big Ten is a dumpster fire right now...except Northwestern and Purdue. What. the. hell.
edit: wait. forget purdue lost to notre dame last week. So just northwestern.

It is the new UA uni's there...certainly the best looking team in the Chicagoland area.
September 16th, 2012 at 12:01 AM ^
Are we really a "dumpster fire" because we happened to play by far the best team in the country in Week 1?
September 16th, 2012 at 12:10 AM ^
I guess not, but I wouldn't say we're being looked at as a quality team just yet. If we beat ND that will change.

That ND front 7 can afford to be tough when they're up against the E.L. Le'veon Bells. They were sold out for the run all night, and if it wasn't a handoff, they had Maxwell shaken enough to just throw it away. Denard has enough options and enough weapons with Gardner, Funchess, Toussaint & especially his legs, that they won't feel so froggy. If they do, he can make them pay.

Perhaps Dantonio should have tried that scout team QB.

How about that ending? three times the fans rush the field....

Arizona put up 689 yards and gained 43 first downs on 102 offensive plays.
I know it's only S. Carolina St., but those are some ridiculous numbers.
