Melrose was actually displaying an anti-B1G bias more than anything. On a couple occassions he seemed to dis the idea of 75% B1G in the Frozen Four and emphasized Duluth as the team that could keep the B1G from winning the championship. If anything, I think they've got an east-coast hockey bias.

Disable Windows Update Service and manually update only when you are good and ready. That's the first thing I did when I realized Windows 10 was automatically updating and restarting without my permission. It is a pretty garbage OS. I had a Dell XPS with XP that lasted about 8 years, Windows 10 is a nightmare compared to that. Hell, I'd go back to Windows NT if I could.

Nevermind. Text link was not indicated as such, but I found it.

Yeah, you're right. You are the only one in the world who has experienced death, loss and greiving. Boy, aren't you a hero. Nobody but you has ever known anything like that. Wow, aren't you full of yourself!
Gimme one more, buddy. You sure think you're something unique and special. Ol' bearer of burdens nobody else knows.
You're such a simpleton that you've completely missed the premise of my posts.
BTW, what year did you graduate from Michigan?!
Tell me again about how I should feel about my alma mater, my father's alma mater, my brother's alma mater and my uncle's alma mater.

|10/14/2017 - 7:20pm||It's really nothing to do||
It's really nothing to do with this particularly game, it was probably inevitably going to happen. It could have happened last week, or any of dozens of times over the past twelve years, or five years from now. It has nothing to do with this team or coaching staff.
It just happens that today was the day that the candle in my heart that has always told me that Michigan is anything other than a middling also-ran was finally snuffed between thumb and forefinger. I'm sure it's happened to lots of people over the years, and today was my day.
There's no arguing it. It's a thing that happened to me and that's why I feel sad about it. It'll either happen to any of you, or won't. Sucks, but c'est la vie.
|10/14/2017 - 5:59pm||Nah, that was at least heart||
Nah, that was at least heart attack inducing and some joy came out of surviving that.
This one was just the point at which I resigned myself to Michigan being a team that more often than not loses to sparty, and sludgefarts a turd-for-turd victory against Indiana.
I'm not angry or ranting, I've just finally accepted my fate as a fan of this team and have become dead inside. Maybe they'll get better, maybe next year, maybe... Today was the day for me, man. I'll still watch, but it just doesn't matter anymore. I've finally been broken.

"I always post the link to the mp3 file. You should be able to just download that and play it on any music player."
Yeah, I hoped that would work, but that is hosted by PodBean as well and is blocked. Is there any other place to host the mp3 for download only?
The Audioboom and Youtube live stuff works and whatever the old player was (I'm guessing that was you guys hosting). Seems like anything that has "pod" in the URL is gonna get blocked at the corporate level (is stitcher.com a thing you could use?). Also, whatever Shutdown Fullcast uses works.
Oh well, I appreciate any content I still can get, and the job you guys do. It's like most image content is now delivered via Twitter or imgur and gets blocked as well, so half of all sports content isn't accessible anymore.
How is one to get through a long day at work?! :p

Now that there is only this PodBean option, I can no longer listen to these at work, it's blocked.
Pretty disappointing. I've always been able to play the previous versions.

I was out there last fall for a fly fishing trip with my father. We hit the Gallatin, Madison and Big Horn in Montana and Wood river and Silver Creek in Idaho, but we were not fishing in the park itself.
Definitely get a guide. They not only know the spots to find fish, but they will direct you within inches where to cast. After a week of guide fishing, we spent our last day without a guide and didn't get as much as a bite. Not to mention they know exactly what to throw. You'll have to book in advance and it's not cheap, about $500/day for the two of us, but it was a great time.
Not sure right now, but there might be some fires happening out there. Also check if there are any stream closures, there was a parasite outbreak that closed down some of the streams in the park last year.
Best of luck, have fun!

|01/26/2017 - 11:24am||Problem is...||
This team will probably finish high enough where they don't make the playoffs, but also aren't in a draft position to get more than a mediocre first round pick, not a difference maker.
I can't see them competing for a Cup for at least 5-10 years.
They'll fill the new stadium for a year or two based solely on the novelty of a new arena, not the product on the ice. Then they'll have to deal with a real tank/rebuild process to get a top pick or two.
It's bleak and this is the least Wings hockey I've watched or paid attention to in 30 years.

Yeah, but I was hoping for it to be embroidered into the garment to appear more like a Michigan-specific product.
As it is, it seems more like they just make a million navy colored garments and sew on "random customer logo" for every team that has similar colors. Which is probably exactly what they do, but you're paying a premium for "your team here's" cheap logo sewn on versus just buying the generic navy garment with no team branding.
I got a Cutter and Buck polo like that a few years ago and immediately sent it back for the same feeling of logo sewn on generic navy shirt that they probably reuse for 50 different teams.

"I found the stitched-on block M to look and feel a little cheap."
I agree. I got the "Elite Coaches Dri-Fit Half Zip Jacket" from fanatics.com and I thought it might be fake cuz it seemed like such a tacked-on Michigan logo. Otherwise, it's a fine piece of clothing and fits well.
|09/24/2016 - 12:41pm||So when you say, "Chicago has||
So when you say, "Chicago has far more kamakazi cyclist than inattentive drivers," you really mean, "the ~10 square block area that I'm familiar with has lots of dangerous cyclists in it." Which is a subjective statement based on limited experience hyperbolically applied to a city the area of 234 sq miles. That is moronic.
My experience is based on 4-5 times more daily travel including a 4 mile stretch from near the lake through all areas of the loop and several miles into the surrounding neighborhoods. So yes, I can objectively state that your claim of number of kamakazi cyclists vs inattentive drivers within the city of Chicago is absurdly false and stupid. Additionally, a high number of negative mgopoints is typically indicative of someone who is prone to making false and stupid statements.
|09/23/2016 - 11:15am||I've walked 6-8 miles per day||
I've walked 6-8 miles per day on almost every week day for years in Chicago. Several times a week I could easily be hit by inattentive drivers. Maybe once every 6 months am I ever in danger from a cyclist.
I'm guessing there's a reason for your points status.
