but what a finish and what an end to the careers of some of my favorite players of all time.

11 wins for only the 5th time in the history of the program. Quite an accomplishment.

I am callng liar on all you people saying you "almost" cried or "got a little choked up" when Hemingway did.  I straight up SNIFFLED.

I would have loved one crazy Toussaint breakaway run.  But I'll take the win.

Frank Clark

Jake Ryan

Delonte Hollowell

and the rest I am forgetting.

All hail everything.

Srsly.  LOL

184 yards...  jeebus.

Edit: And seriously baaaad timing by the Allstate Chairman to flaunt being a Michigan grad.  There are hardly any times it would be bad to do so, but after that ending counts as one.

Magic poop is not magic. It's people like Hoke and Greg Harden believing in guys like Gibbons and making them believe in themselves. Also, Mattison hire helped some.

one post about GIBBONS, ill make another one:

GIBBONS!!!!!!!!!!

last year he could barely make an extra point and now he just kicked the game winning fg in the sugar bowl, after kicking the go-ahead field goal in regulation.  not to mention the long kick he made at the end of the osu game.  mad probs to a redshirt soph whose battled back.

Back when I lacked money, I had to purchase from Jos. Banks.  I could pretend to be wearing a "suit" and have arguable standing amongst leaders.  Tonight's representation of the University through the commercials, interviews, band performance, uniforms, play, cheap foam caps after the win etc. - candidly, this evening's experience feels just so much like a cheap suit from Jos. Banks.  I now appreciate why the University is ranked behind other schools that we used to distance ourselves from.  Pathetic.

Thank you Team 132! This team is full of class, and it will be one of my favorite teams for a long time. From the season long leadership of the seniors, to junior Denard making the plays when it matters, to redshirt sophomore Brendan Gibbons game-winning kick, to true freshman Frank Clark's awesome interception in this game, this team is made of Michigan Men and deserve a special place in history. I went from full seated position to touching my family room ceiling when I saw that kick go through. Go Blue!

Looking forward to an offseason full of optimism.  If you had told me last year that we would win a BCS bowl this year on a field goal, I would have laughed and laughed and then cried a lot.

Great win.  Not pretty, but great nonetheless.
