OT: Dallas Cowboys interested in TP
http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/6847971/sources-dallas-cowboys…
Would be a perfect fit for Dallas ("America's Team" and self-centered fan base, much like his alma mater), if of course he is eligible for the supplemental draft.
In other unrelated news, Mike Valenti is a tool. Even on twitter! http://twitpic.com/63ou5u
instead of "SIAP", people should just say "Fuck it I didn't feel like looking".
The arrow button to the next page of threads made everything disappear.
Well there is a site search at the top right. Doesn't even need arrows.
I realized I could have done that...oh well.

OMGS = dickish-at-times but at the same time more-likeable-for-said-dickishness procedural guru.
OMGS is like private actions under Sarbanes-Oxley. A private (non-established) means of enforcing public (established) law (rules).
The SEC (mods) can't do it all, why not let private citizens (OMGS) pick up some of the work load?

Ah...my favorite part of mgoblog: people reading threads on the board, noticing they are repeats, getting their panties in a twist and making a snarky comment about it.
It's not like every mouse click you make contributes to global climate change. If you've got time to read the board, you've got time to hit the back button on your browser if it's repeat content.
They did sign Pacman Jones so this isn't really that much of a stretch. I always had the Bengals pegged as the team that ended up with Pryor but I imagine he needs to get out of Ohio ASAP. Kind of ironic that he now knows how Herbstreet feels.

He is going to be a media magnet for awhile, no matter where he goes, and given the new CBA and the round he is likely to go in (Q: 4th round?) it's not like it is going to cost anyone very much. The biggest downside will be giving up a pick next year and then watching him turn out to be a bust because he wants to play QB and is emotionally immature.
Fuck Dallas, Romo & Pryor. - America's Team my ass. Looking forward to my NY Giants laying out Tony Romo out again. GTFO with this non-sense.
I hate the America's Team bullshit. I said TP is a perfect fit there with all the ego-centric fans there in Dallas.

I hate the Cowboys with the heat and passion of one thousand Suns
I'm quickly finding good reasons to loathe all sports teams from Texas.

Barely?

It is sort of a "shit on Texas" day. I'm glad we brought some TP...

that Texas fought its war of independence to preserve its "peculiar institution" against the will of the Mexican Government, which controlled Tejas at the time.

rooted for Dallas Mavericks in NBA finals against the Heat???
August 9th, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^
I wanted Juwan Howard to get an NBA championship, for the Fab Five. That obviously didn't happen, and I was disappointed but not heartbroken. I don't have a great love for the Heat, but I do care about the Fab Five.
What really got me hacked off about The Finals was the babyish way every Cavaliers fan I know rallied behind the Mavericks. You would think Lebron peed on Terminal Tower on his way out of Cleveland or something with the way they were acting. To top that off, Governor Kasich released an official proclamation making the Mavericks honorary Citizens of Ohio. I've had enough of high-level state reps and certain University presidents publicly embarassing themselves.

A university president from Ohio embarrassed themselves? Do tell.

Dallas Stars - I'm not a fan of southern markets getting NHL franchises.
San Antonio Spurs - Black and white? That's weak.
Dallas Mavericks - Marc Cuban is awesome so they get a pass.
Houston Astros - Suck.
Houston Texans - Such a generic name.
Texas Tech - Run and shoot is too NCAA10 for me.
the new Al Davis.

What do you think Terelle Pryor would do if a Cowboy vetern asked him to carry a helmet and pads back to the locker room? I am thinking it would end up like the scarface ending.......
August 9th, 2011 at 10:27 PM ^
What a classy guy for a classy organization. Good fit IMO
Also, Armani Reeves is gonna make his decision on Friday at 10:00. Doesn't look promising so I didn't think it was threadworthy, but there ya go. Sounds like PSU all the way
August 9th, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^
As a Cowboys fan this makes me absolutely sick, I wouldn't waste a 10th round pick if there even was one on this pea brained, selfish, attention whore.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:54 PM ^
If he realizes he's not an NFL QB and moves positions, I think he could be a helluva TE if he puts in the work. A lot of "ifs" though.
August 9th, 2011 at 11:19 PM ^
Will they be going to Jim Tressel's pro day as well? They are a package deal right?
August 10th, 2011 at 12:53 AM ^
This proves why this generation of Cowboys doesn't win Super Bowls.
August 10th, 2011 at 2:03 AM ^
Why?
Because they're looking into the mere possibility of taking a flyer on a supplemental fifth-rounder?
Yeah, that would set the franchise back years.
August 10th, 2011 at 8:11 AM ^
Where do you get 5th rounder? He could go in the first few.

The issue is that he is selfish and has a lot of character issues which are generally looked down upon in the NFL. I can't imagine former buckeyes would like him either.
August 10th, 2011 at 12:35 PM ^
that most NFL teams doesn't want TP because of his intelligence, arrongance and off-field issues. He was given a 6th/7th round grade and could very well go undrafted in suppelmental draft.
No teams are going to spend 1st 3 round picks on any prospects in suppelmental draft because it would require giving up next year pick if they use that pick to select them. 4th round is the earliest that he'll go but I'm betting he'll get picked in 6th round.
That's moot point since he's likely to be included for '12 draft.
August 10th, 2011 at 2:30 AM ^
Thank the Lord, Pryor has been ruled ineligible according to NFL.com.
August 10th, 2011 at 6:56 AM ^
Typical Cowboys, signing overrated talent
August 10th, 2011 at 12:28 PM ^
Maybe read the actual article and pretty much every NFL team was sending someone to his pro day, just someone decided to make sure that they attached the Cowyboys name to it to create some buzz for this loser Pryor. It was probably Rosenhaus.
