I have spent two academic years living off of State in the heart of the athletic campus -- the houses here (at least the one's I've been to) are typical student housing garbage and you probably don't want to be a grown man with a family dealing with that type of noise. I'd love to stay in Ann Arbor or move back in a few years (now that I have graduated) but it would not be in this neighborhood if I do.
You cannot forget that they got a head start on Michigan with these kids and that Harbaugh is still playing from behind in just his second full recruiting cycle. If Michigan wins 12 or more next year, our class will look similar.
Here they compare their situation to Texas A&M's (tired of playing little brother to UT, left Big 12 for greener pastures, etc.). Don't let the door hit you...
Read Brian's post on this. "We" are not the handful of teenagers that tweeted at Blake. And believe me, if it was OSU's punter that cost them a game the wrath of the knuckle-dragging Buckeye Nation would have been exponentially more harsh. Same goes for the 'Noles, presumably.
From the small handful of times I've heard Beard, as well as from reading his tweets, he seems to carry a Terry Foster level of idiocy. Also, Jeff Moss retweeted somebody saying Scott "The Gator" Anderson proclaimed yesterday that the Lions would win a playoff game before Michigan. Good times!
Because it isn't a poll, these rankings are based on an algorithm. Which is why it isn't strange to think that Alabama is number one -- Ole Miss was insanely fortunate to beat them.
I agree about the brake pumping, but Rudock didn't really get benched. Sounds more like Beathard strongarmed his way into playing in the bowl and Jake got tired of the nonsense.
LOL, yes, picking up Chris L. Rucker from prison and inserting him into the starting lineup is absolutely where MD draws the line. He would never pressure an injury-ridden player to retire when there would be no ramifications on the scholarship situation.
I'll never forget Ray Vinopal tweeting, "do it for those who've done it before you," then promptly transferring after. What a plucky, overmatched safety that guy was. Also, Bredeson and hopefully Rasean Gary will both soon be on this list. Great stuff, WD.

I wrote a full analysis of Harbaugh's fourth-down decision making at Michigan here and here, if anyone is interested.
Many that would know went out and said that the staff made things perfectly clear to Swenson long before the media firestorm that came with it.

Kaepernick to Michigan?
So it begins...
Was it in the postgame press conference or on the court right after? Later interview?
Can you link to where he said this? Not that I don't believe it, just would like to see that in context.
"Hoke had Michigan loaded."
That's a new one.
Just skip Ohio State and do this one, Brian. We don't mind.
I agree with the general sentiment but I 100% do not see more MSU gear than U-M gear in Detroit. Not close.
Lots of bogus medical hardships though...

Mr. Rowe reminds me of the classical-music-elitist guy from Obscene Diaries, Craig.

No, they lost Ed Davis for the season, RJ Williamson, and a few others if I'm not mistaken.
You have over 6,000 posts on a Michigan site despite being an Ohio State fan. I believe my point is justified.
You're here, aren't you?

They pretty much are though.
So this percentage is just arbitrarily assigned?

Somebody said this on here the other day, too. MSU went 7-6 in 2012.
MSU was 7-6 three years ago.
Basically the Heisman.
Urban's wearing a blue shirt.
If you need some data to back this up, you can find it HERE and HERE.
It wasn't bad at the end.
To echo Charles Barkley, I don't know who or what Man United is, but they in some trouble.
Reminds me of the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles. Or is that the other way around?

His overthrow of Posey and THJ's save against Syracuse in the Final Four are two plays that make my stomach hurt watching even today.
Define solid.
That was true in '13 but not as much last year as MSU's defense took a substantial step back.

Show me the multiple concussions and back injuries and torn ACLs team, please.
I've never seen a poster so consistently add nothing to the conversation.
Do we want Jay Cutler spending time with Peters?

Glad you enjoyed!
Ugh, I still vividly remember that drop.
Thanks, more coming!
