I really don't mean any disrespect to you specifically, but I have seen so many of these comments about "i just saw so-and-so's facebook status and..." and I have to feel bad for these kids.

Now I don't know how old you (or anyone else who made similar comments) are, but I envision adults who IME should know better, sending friend requests to these 17-19 year old kids so they can keep tabs on what they do.

I realize that they have to accept you as a friend before you can see anything (or at least I think they do) but for kids it seems the number of friends they have is a status symbol, so they accept anyone who requests. They are kids and one could see how they may get caught up in something like that.

For adults, however, I just find it incredibly creepy. I have heard many of the arguements about why they should be careful about who they accept and they are valid, but the fact remains they are kids, while many of those who are requesting to be their friends are adults. It just blows me away that some people get so invested in what a teenager is going to do on the weekend, eat for supper or go to university.

I really like how our current commits are recruiting others hard and are looking to form a super defense.

How many DBs do you think we take in this class?  If only 2, who would like the other to be?  I like Morgan out of NY.

He could but I doubt it. No reason to move his announcement up if he was still planning to take visits, especially since all of his finalists would probably hold a spot for him.

An early commitment by him isn't a bad thing for us anyway. Even if he does announce for somewhere else, he's not far away from campus and will have his buddies in his ear for 9 months. Think we'd see him on campus between now and NSD regardless. Not to mention we're in on other DBs.

Dude, you are new here so I want to let you in on something. The avatart you choose, while a great pic, happens to be shared by one of the more contraversial posters on this blog (I have nothing against him, but many do). I am just saying there may come times when you get an auto neg because someone thinks you are "His Dudeness". Just friendly advise so take it FWIW.

In the spirit of this, and further recruiting, does anyone have a Scout membership and want to let us all know what this says:

http://michigan.scout.com/a.z?s=162&p=2&c=1072381&ssf=1&RequestedURL=ht…

T-Rich + Burbridge, who we are believed to be in very good position with, + Gunner Kiel?  I want to know what is in this (but not badly enough to buy a Scout membership).  With this T-Rich news for tomorrow, one would suppose that May 28th will be either Gunner or Burbridge's announcement?

Edit: Or, it could be the date of Kiel's second visit to AA (which is supposed to be happening soon).  This is more probable.

If he doesn't go Alabama I will be beyond surprised. Would LOVE for him to go blue but he said himself he wasn't picking Michigan and it would be a surprise pick. He's also all about Roll Tide now. Plus Royce was talking like he really hoped Terry would be coming but he sounded very unsure. Right after he said he hoped he would come, he said no matter where he goes he'll support him. Sounded basically like Royce knew he wasn't coming here but he didn't want everyone in Michigan not liking him for picking another school. Just my 2 cents. I hope he does come to UM though!

"I am not commioting to michigan.................so please people stop calling me and messaging about commiting to a college any rumors you have heard is not true i dont care who it is from you have read from me out of my words nobody knows where im going but me and its not a school you are thinking about i have an surprise!! T-RICH.............."

Straight from the mouth of Terry himself. Just because I WANT him to go Blue doesn't mean that it doesn't look good for us. I like how I'm a troll for posting factual stuff that Terry said himself. I'm not making this stuff up.

There is a back-story to the whole "Roll Tide" thing.  Sufficed to say, those who are in the know (i.e. not me) believe that Michigan is in excellent position for Mr. Richardson.  It doesn't mean he will definitely commit to Michigan tomorrow, but I wouldn't worry too much about some of the public statements by T-Rich and RJS.

I remember at one point it really seemed doubtful that he would pick UM, but some recent happenings have made that seem a lot more possible than before. Over the past month and a half or so it seems that UM made up a lot of ground and may have even taken the lead with him. I have no inside information, just what I read on this blog, but everything lately has been very positive for UM. I think at this point it is pretty much 50-50, but I don't think we are in as bad a position as you think we are.
