Terry Richardson to announce tomorrow
Terry Richardson has set a press conference for 11:45 Am tomorrow. He listed a top five of USC, Michigan, LSU, ND, and Alabama.

I saw his facebook status... This is a huge commit that we need. So excited for his announcement.
I really don't mean any disrespect to you specifically, but I have seen so many of these comments about "i just saw so-and-so's facebook status and..." and I have to feel bad for these kids.
Now I don't know how old you (or anyone else who made similar comments) are, but I envision adults who IME should know better, sending friend requests to these 17-19 year old kids so they can keep tabs on what they do.
I realize that they have to accept you as a friend before you can see anything (or at least I think they do) but for kids it seems the number of friends they have is a status symbol, so they accept anyone who requests. They are kids and one could see how they may get caught up in something like that.
For adults, however, I just find it incredibly creepy. I have heard many of the arguements about why they should be careful about who they accept and they are valid, but the fact remains they are kids, while many of those who are requesting to be their friends are adults. It just blows me away that some people get so invested in what a teenager is going to do on the weekend, eat for supper or go to university.

I had the understanding he had Oregon in his top 5, not LSU... I honestly thought it was between Oregon, Michigan, or possibly Tennessee because of his cass tech connections...

Bama and LSU over the summer, ND with, I believe, Biggs Ross. I don't think he ever got out to SoCal

He could but I doubt it. No reason to move his announcement up if he was still planning to take visits, especially since all of his finalists would probably hold a spot for him.
An early commitment by him isn't a bad thing for us anyway. Even if he does announce for somewhere else, he's not far away from campus and will have his buddies in his ear for 9 months. Think we'd see him on campus between now and NSD regardless. Not to mention we're in on other DBs.
This somewhat disappointingly ends our Noah's Arc-like trend of getting position recruits in pairs.
I think Godin ended that, unless you pair him with Morris, which is an odd couple to say the least. You can't get further apart position-wise than QB and DT. And they aren't even the same year.

T-Rich + Burbridge, who we are believed to be in very good position with, + Gunner Kiel? I want to know what is in this (but not badly enough to buy a Scout membership). With this T-Rich news for tomorrow, one would suppose that May 28th will be either Gunner or Burbridge's announcement?
Edit: Or, it could be the date of Kiel's second visit to AA (which is supposed to be happening soon). This is more probable.

A CB/QB pair sounds just fine to me. Hoke continues to impress.
We're only taking one QB per class, so a recruit is allowed to commit with either (a) another player at the same position, or (b) a quarterback.

If this is from him it sounds more like a response to RJS saying he was announcing last week. Not that he had eliminated Michigan.
Will Campbell said almost the exact same thing just prior to re-committing to Michigan, so it's all fun and games. We can't do anything more than make educated guesses.
There is a back-story to the whole "Roll Tide" thing. Sufficed to say, those who are in the know (i.e. not me) believe that Michigan is in excellent position for Mr. Richardson. It doesn't mean he will definitely commit to Michigan tomorrow, but I wouldn't worry too much about some of the public statements by T-Rich and RJS.
I remember at one point it really seemed doubtful that he would pick UM, but some recent happenings have made that seem a lot more possible than before. Over the past month and a half or so it seems that UM made up a lot of ground and may have even taken the lead with him. I have no inside information, just what I read on this blog, but everything lately has been very positive for UM. I think at this point it is pretty much 50-50, but I don't think we are in as bad a position as you think we are.
At the beginning of the process a lot of the in state recruits weren't "feeling the love". The coaching transition had us a little slow to get our offers out. A few months later and they will all soon be blue.
