You can't draw any conclusions about "bandwagoners" or how "many" fans each remaining school has... look at the metrics. It's merely how many Facebook Likes a given school has in a particular county. If one 10th grader in the middle of East Nowheresville, Montana, is the only person in a county of 2,000 people who happened to Like (capitalized) Michigan, and no one in that county Likes Syracuse, Wichita State, or Louvull, then by Facebook's metrics that county is rooting for Michigan . When you put it in context, it's not that surprising, considering that Michigan is easily the most famous school (on a national level) of the remaining four. You can extrapolate that idea across the rest of the nation, particularly in states where Michigan has sizable alumni communities (like California, NYC, and Philadelphia); also, considering the scope and breadth of the NCAA tournament, you have to figure that on a regional level, most of the counties that are technically "rooting" for Michigan were probably pulling for a more local team that has since been eliminated... which would explain California, since UCLA and Cal are both out; Florida, because of Miami and UF (the three people rooting for FGCU before they beat Georgetown are PROBABLY insignificant); Arizona; and so on. Still, it's comforting to know that people Like us? |

FWIW, I wouldn't risk scalping in Atlanta/around the stadium. My current roommate and long-time friend is an Emory grad and said that throughout college, he and several of his friends would try to scalp tickets to any number of events (concerts, SEC Championships, Falcons games, Hawks games, etc.) and he ballparked it around 75% of the time the tickets were photocopied or just outright fake, and most people ended up getting swindled. That being said, the ball's been rolling for us, so maybe let it ride? I got my tickets on Razor Gator, pretty high up but about market price all things considered. And we're road tripping from NYC. |

all things considered, I think it says a lot that the rest of the team stepped up when Trey was shooting worse than awful from the floor. The entire first half, McGary looked like he was born to play in the tournament, and Tim shot the lights out |

They *could* give him the jersey... and considering the free-for-all that was jersey numbers this year, it might make sense. especially since I'm not sure if tight ends can wear jerseys in the 90s anymore.
Or just say screw it and give it to Jake Ryan also. give him all the numbers. |

Is it weird that the brother of one of my roommates from study abroad was friends with him in high school? Also as a guy who grew up playing as Michigan QB #13 in every version of NCAA Football ever, I find this oddly appropriate. What I wouldn't do to see him on the field at some point in the next four years. L'Chaim! |

but I really think something hilarious could be done with nyancat and the twosie picture. Someone already did the Hoke nyancat, I'm telling you the potential is there |

who finds the idea of sean hannity or geraldo rivera talking basketball absolutely ridiculous? i think it could be the best thing to happen to unintentional comedy since... ever? i think this is the only way they could ever hope to compete with ESPN |
