49 weeks 1 hour ago	Start With Book One	I was informed about the series prior to season one of the show, however I waited until halfway through season one of the show to start reading them.  I would recommend beginning with book one and reading them in order.  Book one setups up the entire series and HBO differed season 2 of the show enough from book two that, in my opinion, reading book two is a necessity.  I am in fact trying to convince my wife to read the books, as she watches the show with me, and feels she doesn't need to read the books because she watches the show.  They are such good reads, that even as a non-avid reader, I finished all five books before 2011 was over.

I had the pleasure of meeting killer at a few of WDFN's radio events, and he was an amazing guy to have a beer with and talk football. This is a loss not just for lions fans but for football fans everywhere. Thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones today, as he will be missed

2 years 10 weeks ago	1130 WDFN	Just listen to 1130 WDFN.  They have 3 Mich guys (Matt Shephard, Mens Basketball announcer), Ryan Ermani (Alumnus) Ryan Terpstra (Fan, and someone I have seen post on this blog before).  Also, Sean Baligian, who is as fair and generally unbiased as any Sparty I've ever heard on the radio or talked to in real life, and at least when the talk sports, they know sports.

2 years 19 weeks ago	He may get paid, yes, however	He may get paid, yes, however a lockout would mean that he could have absolutely no contact with any of his new players, until a resolution is worked out.  If by all indications this is going to be late August/early September,t his would make installing his system into the NFL very difficult, and would hamper at least his first season, and who knows beyond that.  All things considered, the NFL lockout may play very heavily on his decision.
