I can't be the only one enjoying a few drinks on this fine New Years Eve. I'm surprised there isn't a thread quite yet.
I'm on my 5th or so Leinenkugel's Snowdrift Vanilla Porter.
How about you guys?
Lots and lots of fluids! Water, grape juice, apple cider, gatorade... fighting away the flu isn't exactly how I imagined spending my NYE.
COYS and lets go Detroit FC!
Not to be a pre-Madonna, but about time someone starts this thread! Drinking Tezon tequila, and for all intensive purposes, getting hammered. Happy New Year all, go blue Mañana!
but I am drinking beer until live football is over for the night and then switching over to cognac to ring in the new year with the ghost of Dick Clark
I have the Peach Bowl (using Seth-approved name) and some Strongbow cider at the moment. I made beef enchiladas for dinner - slow cooked the beef in salsa verde, fresh chopped cilantro and diced onion, with a smattering of diced serrano peppers. Turned out nicely, I might add.

after the girlfriends friends (we're in her hometown right now) said they'd be house party hopping in downtown Cincinnati, which I currently can't participate in due to a fucked up knee. Turns out her dad had the perfect materials for a BP table downstairs, so we're going to play some pong with her little brother and enjoy premium satellite on their very big TV. Not all that shabby, even if it is way more lame than being at UC tonight.
We're drinking champagne all night, with a few Yuengling's mixed in.
Go Blue!
How big?

I think 60; maybe only 55 but I have a 43 and it's substantially bigger.
Also, that sounded every bit as dirty in my head as I'm sure it did in yours.
Go Blue!
Sometimes you have to throw out a softball.

Abort, Retry, Fail?
and Coke Zero.
Champagne from Costco. Get like me!
The first NYE I've spent at home since I was 17, and if feels STRANGE. The Mrs. got me a case of Miller High Life while she was out, and I'm going to have those in between shots of Crown. Happy New Year to all, and Go Blue, beat the Cocks!

Bam Biere. Best. Brewery. Ever.
There is no time, sir, at which ties do not matter.
And am drinking my west coast IPA (Stone, enjoy by 12-21-12) out of a Jolly Pumpkin glass.
Switching to Cabernet, and making my famous "kid-mosas" for my kids, who talked me into staying up to the "real" midnight. We are on the west coast, and I like to celebrate midnight at 9 because I'm old.

It's my go-to any time I'm in California.
Jolly Pumpkin distribution is so spotty in Chicago that every time I see some in a Binny's I buy like 5 bottles because I'm never sure if it'll be there the next time. Any bar that has Jolly Pumpkin on tap immediately goes into my pantheon.

That Stone is typically meh for me. Except their special brews, and this was a good one. Lots of really good beer out here..to much good beet available to drink bad beer.

White Russians. Just dudeing it up.
Well I have had a lot of bus light, absolute, and wine so far. My makers mark is calling my name now. I probably won't remember this post in the morning.
Brought some local love back home to Pitt.. Dark Horse and Founders.. Finish off with a hopslam!
Its called a royale with cheese
Hopslam I presume? Release not until Jan 8 per Bells website.
I have been holding onto this until tonight. Btw, its even better then the last one i had at thanksgiving.
Its called a royale with cheese
Which is worse.

fans are worse.
...confidence is the stain they can't wipe off...
The fans are worse because you can likely tolerate that beer. Anyone over 40, hanging with 40+ aged Ohio fans would probably think the fans are more tolerable than that beer. 30-40 year olds....it would be a toss up.

About to try a Red Stripe. HOORAY BEER!!!
Wolverine Premium Lager. With some sparkling cider in-between.
And still pissed I'm not in Tampa right now.

Gentleman's Jack and some genny cream ale
There is god, there is family, and then there is MICHIGAN FOOTBALL
Decaf and baily's. So good.
Warning: My imagination is inefficient.
