The last one I had, and it was awfully tasty, was
a Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron. Gulden Draak is a great Belgian Ale, a bit less than 12% but still potent. I'd always feel comfortable recommending either of those. Sadly, the word inexpensive won't apppear anywhere near either of them.

Have to let the Palo Santo
Have to let the Palo Santo warm a bit, not too much. I had a Founders Imperial after work, Bells Hopslam with dinner and just now a Double Crooked Tree. I didn't even watch the game, not because I'm hatin, just because I had to do a million errands this afternoon (haircut, dry cleaning, pick up the boys, groceries and make dinner) that I just didn't have time for the game. I'm glad I missed it. I checked the score at half time and it looked promising . . .

He'Brew's Lenny's IPA is a 10% alcohol beer. It's great, but whoa it has a lot of malt and hops. If you don't like your beers that hop tasting, then you won't like it, but if you do, then you will. http://www.shmaltzbrewing.com/HEBREW/lennys.html does not take long to get drunk when you're drinking those.

So I will definitely check it out! I think the Main street market (gosh, do I actually not know what the place is called?) has a nice selection. If anyone has any insight on where to get these kinds of beers relatively near campus I'd be very grateful!

You must try their Vintage Ale. I've had the 2007, 2008 and 2009. All slightly different but all incredible beers. I think I dropped $14 for an imperial pint. The 2008 tastes like butterscotch.
