I believe they came before the whole vampire craze, however, Twilight was published in 2005, while Vampire Weekend was formed in 2006. However, the name came from Ezra Koenig's (the lead singer) student film of the same name. The protagonist, Walcott, is on vacation when suddenly, vampires begin to take over the world. Walcott has to go to Cape Cod and tell the mayor about the vampires. In fact, they have a song called 'Walcott' on their first album and it explains the plot. |

If someone took the greatest song ever written, a song that ends wars, inspires people to feed the hungry, etc. etc. and then mixed it with rap, it would just be a pile of shit. rap sucks... |

1. Born in Somerset, KY, raised in London, KY...yeah, you probably have no idea where that is. I lived in Oakwood (Dayton), OH from the time I was 10 til I was 14. 2. I was first ensnared by "The Michigan Difference", when I first started getting into football, around the age of 9. I knew that they had the most wins, a bunch of national championships and were always good. A long while after, looking into more of the history of the school and football team, the town's and school's political ideals, the level of education the school provides, I became a die-hard fan of not only the team but the school. The 2008 season only strengthened my love for the program more. 3. North Laurel '08. |

was included in the 1900, '08, '20, and '24 olympic games, with America winning gold in the '20 and '24 games. I really wish they stopped including it... |

be a little more patient on making predictions for the season. Last season, very few (myself included) weren't predicting that we would have the abortion of a season we did. Look how that turned out. Maybe when fall camp starts for us and the teams on our schedule and we get a good idea of our and their strengths and weaknesses, then lets make a prediction. About the OP's prediction, improved QB play will help a lot and it may get us 3 or 4 more wins than last season. However, the defense and o-line are going to have to make as many strides as the QBs to get 9 or 10 wins. Special teams as well. |

I don't think that last year even comes close to Michigan's worst season. In 1934, Michigan went a dismal 1-7, not just that but they were shut out 5 of the 8 games they played, scoring only 21 points all season (and you think we've had offensive struggles). In 1936, Michigan had the same record, however they were only shut out 3 games, scoring 33 points along the way. During the 3 seasons between '34 - '36, Michigan lost to Ohio State all 3 times by a combined score of 0 to 93. Harry Kipke was the coach during this time, who earlier had led Michigan to 2 National Titles. Also, Michigan football's most famous alumnus, Gerald Ford, was the center and linebacker during these years |

Have you ever seen 'Amelie'? That's a very quality French film. Also, I watched 'Ran' for the first time ever yesterday and I want to watch everything ever made by Akira Kurosawa, so I'm definitely going to have to pick up Seven Samurai |

I could not be more excited for this season. Unfortunately, I haven't bought NCAA Football yet, so I have nothing to occupy myself, Michigan Football-wise, except for news like this... Sept. 5th cannot get here fast enough! |
| 3 years 46 weeks ago | actually, the sports are |
actually, the sports are completely different. there are so many different factors that they aren't even close. from player roles and skills to points to even how the game is played and even the small things like time and pace of the game. there are some similarities, but no, it's a completely different game... |
